Melksham is a good match up because he’d beat Whitfield in the air. Very smart about when to run forward and will kick a bag if Whitfield doesn’t show him respect

Juddy thinks we can win the flag and this will hopefully be a little reminder not to get ahead of ourselves

Mitch Hannan has some I reckon and even James harmes has the speed to break lines and kick multiple goals

Jesse reads the game better than anyone else on our list by a mile. It’s certainly worth trying

If Fremantle offered pick 7 and say Adam cerra. And hogan was unsure about staying on beyond next year I think it at least is worth a thought. I think he will be a demon long term and it’ll be a non issue but if hogan were genuinely unsure and even likely to leave I think we are In a position where making the move a year early and getting a good return is worth consideration

I rate harmes as our best and most complete mid. As great as Oliver is at what he does harmes is shuts a quality player out of the game plus win his own ball, provides run, kicks goals and helps out the backline. Hes improved out of sight

This is a massive danger game for us. I think we will win by plenty but this is the sort of game some players may already have penciled in as a win

I agree, just in the event Jesse told them he wasn’t open to discussing an extension because he wants to go back to Perth. I suspect he will stay and will be signed on before round 5 next year

Andrew gaff has to be a priority and to be totally honest I still think we are in the box seat. I think we’d have the cap room to offer a good deal. And we are a promising team for the short and long term who he grew up supporting. I can’t see north offering drastically more than what we could. Aaron hall is another I think has the attributes we need and wouldn’t cost much to get. I suspect the curve ball could be Jesse hogan. I’m sure the club will ask if his intention is to stay on and if not we may look to more him on a year early given we have some cover up forward now. Obviously I think and hope he will stay but if he was set on leaving he’d get us a pretty good package in return

Short from the Tigers is ooc. No indication he wants to leave but he’d be a good addition and if they’re planning to sign tom Lynch he may get squeezed out.

What’s Nathan jones on field role going forward? Because for me he’s now forth in line for the midfield assuming guys like Salem and petracca don’t improve which I think both will. Is he a full Time wing/half back? Could he play forward and rotate through. Bit like Tyson I see him as too one dimensional and the real strength of guys like Oliver and brayshaw is they have the speed to play other postions.

I believe he’s had a run and is hoping to join back in training next week

Personally I’d go with hunt for smith, Kent or Hannan for Kennedy Harris
