  1. IF Judd was good enough, he'd have played the role he wanted, reality is that Bowey, Windsor, Rivers and Salem were all not only ahead of him for the role he wanted, but comfortably ahead of him. That's nothing against Judd, i wish him well at Freo and hope he does prove me wrong, but i've seen no evidence he's anything more than a back pocket lockdown specialist. I think he could have been all australian in that team first role, but he's more interested in personal glory than being a team player so he'll fit in well at Freo and back with Mummy and Daddy.
  2. Hahahah in some ways he's Clayton Oliver without the baggage! haha I would only do it if the Saints were chipping in some of his wage and he's just there to help develop the young guys and fix the cultural stuff has to be on our terms, but i do worry our midfield is a tiny bit thin without Trac and Oliver.
  3. No i'm saying that if Judd wasn't good enough to get the role he wants at the 14th ranked side, he's probably going to struggle at a top 8 side. So might love his life in the reserves.
  4. I think this is one i posted about and i would love to see happen, i think it makes a lot of sense, we're losing Trac and Clarry from the midfield, and if the Saints are pushing him out and might even contribute financially it feels like a really good fit.
  5. I feel like there is a world where we turn Trac and Oliver and Mcvee into Humphrey, Steele and Rogers.
  6. Perfect. all for this. We get an experienced mid with high character to replace an experienced mid with personal challenges.
  7. Million dollar question. Unless he makes it clear he's desperate to leave and they're worried about the late rubbish picks they might get off a team like the Hawks in the future they wouldn't.
  8. It reminds me a little bit of when Luke Jackson left us, we'd won a flag, then finished top 4 but couldn't go back to back, no reason to think we wouldn't go again. but then Jackson wanted to move home, which i suspect is the same with Bailey Humphrey. I just can't see a world where the Suns trade him. If i were them i'd rather Bailey Humphrey than Christian Petracca.
  9. Who are Freo's reserves team? i'll have to tune in and watch them to see if they manage to turn him into an attacking half back
  10. or even the next Lindsay, Langford, Windsor, Rivers, Kozzie, Turner, Petty, Van Rooyen, Chandler, Jackson
  11. I mean it's pretty clear Clarry is hurt that we've pushed him out, and it's difficult to blame him. He was happy to stay, probably desperately wanted to repay the faith and then suddenly we hire a new CEO and a new coach and he's out the door, away from all the support networks he's built.
  12. This is such a non story. There is no world where we entertain a kozzie trade. It’ll be fine
  13. It looks like the suns are struggling with “we want a player” so maybe if we leave negotiations for a couple of days and see if they can consult someone to help them understand that “player” is not the same as “picks in a rubbish draft”
  14. Darren burgess played a pretty big role as well
  15. I think there is going to be a lot more negotiation around how much the MFC pay of his wage than there is about the trade return.
  16. Oh have a cry. He played a key role in delivering our first flag in 57 years that alone is more than you and all other fake internet tough guys combined.
  17. Absolutely has to be stated that if the Suns think Flanders is worth pick 7, Petracca is worth 6 top 10 picks.
  18. I'll tell you what is infinitely more immature and ridiculous than what Clarry did in that video pretending he isn't a MFC legend just because he's leaving and clearly upset about how it's happened 205 games premiership player 3 x All Australian 2 x AFLCA player of the year 4 x club best and fairest He has earned the respect of all real MFC fans.
  19. It's time to go Steven King thread?
  20. Yes. Clayton Oliver is without a doubt a Melbourne legend.
  21. Bahahahha i love this meltdown for Clarry
  22. Humphrey is a dud and i never rated him. Just getting in early. Back to my hunt for the leaker.
  23. I for one never rated or like Trac, i think Tim Lamb should be sacked for his ridiculous chat. @Jaded No More don't even think about digging up the receipts that are no doubt there.
  24. This off season is nuts haha.
  25. given Josh Jenkins has zero links to either club or the situation i would say his opinion means about as much to me as a discarded bowel movement.
