  1. This is absolutely right, Primus was a dud, Neeld is a dud... Hinkley comes in and after one pre season they look like a Top 8 team, maybe our list isn't as good as theirs in some area's but is it really so far behind that we can't compete at AFL level? keeping in mind they couldn't last year.
  2. we have gone backwards so fast it's scary, we move on Rivers, Green and Moloney and our biggest issue is we have no on field experience... i mean come on! if we had even one of those three now we would be significantly better off.
  3. A 6 goal loss is considered a positive because we at least showed effort, surely Craig, Viney or Rawlings couldn't do any worse? Neeld would be at very long odds to survive mid year let alone long term.
  4. Freo is going to arguable put more pressure on us in this area then we have seen this year, some good disposal won't hurt us, but i think we need to throw him to CHF and try and win the game.
  5. I agree, we might not right away, but the difference in respect and buy in would be huge, Mark Neeld just might be in over his head with us, we need the best coach possible.
  6. Our strength is our efficiency going forward, unfortunately we have the worst midfield in the comp by a mile so we can't do anything with it, when you are smashed in clearances and inside 50's every game as well as being minus 100 possessions it sort of makes strength's a little irrelevant until you fill the massive holes.
  7. The basic thought is good, but i think we have better options than Pedo, geez i'd even take Rodan over pedo.
  8. But then you look at Freo who this isn't an issue with because the coach has such a good game plan that even we would be a good side under it, it's not entirely Neeld's fault but he certainly isn't helping it either.
  9. And also the lack of key players at times, it seems to be the one area we are really good
  10. He has 4-6 weeks off, get him on the phone haha
  11. I have a feeling he will resign with them unfortunately, would be about perfect if he and prestia decided they wanted to join us over the off season
  12. He has the head of a 250 game player on his shoulders, i can see exactly why he maybe paid overs to get him to the club now, the post match presser was very impressive.
  13. Is this serious? maybe for one ball up or something, anything else and he'd be exposed bigtime, and we'd be done with tanking knowing our luck.
  14. I know for a fact they felt at the end of 2011 with the right coach they could play finals in 2012 especially with the addition of Mitch Clark, that's how far backwards Neeld has taken us
  15. you certainly are, but i achieves nothing.
  16. Taking our injuries and interrupted pre seasons to key player into account, when we play like we did against the tigers, are we ahead of the Bulldogs and gold coast?
  17. I want Neeld sacked, i'm sure most are aware of that by now but the only thing i can give him is that we haven't even seen close to what our best 22 are like, our dangerous forward structure has not played a game at any level together, later in the year should be a good indication provided we don't have more injuries
  18. Sellar playing back is a perfect opportunity to push watts to the wing or half forward
  19. Neeld seems to accept anything that isn't a 100 point loss as a positive.
  20. he certainly has the endurance.
  21. Geez Jimmy Toumpas has nice kicking skills though, him and watts settling in for the second half of the year isn't going to hurt us in this respect, everyone here is well aware that we are crying out for good users of the ball to set a standard for the other boys.
  22. So the better option would be to not read it rather then wasting everyone's time with a pointless comment?
  23. You're kidding, poor fella :/ really hate how we never get told the truth about these injuries from the start.
  24. He has real class, and i'd say is our best defensive mid by a mile, funny considering we play Mckenzie as a tagger...; but Trengove needs to get his confidence and conditioning up, and turn 20 touches and 8 tackle games into 30 touches 8 tackles and a goal or two, I always leave a game feeling he has been abit quiet, and then realise all of the off the ball work and 1%'s he has done later when watching a replay
  25. i can honestly say i was concerned and doubtful of Dawes ability to be a dangerous forward rather than just a second target, but he was really impressive today, great work rate, chasing and tackling, leading to good area's to create space and could have kicked 3-4 pretty easily, he and clark will be a headache for oppositions, but by god do we lack polish in the middle, that's the difference in our respectable losses, we are doing some things right but not finishing off so many good pieces of work
