@stevethemanjordan does make some very good points We could do with a gut runner with skills, despite his shortcomings. The question is what would you trade for him, and pick 10 is way too much IMO

First thing I thought too when Frosty re-signed. Now perhaps theres no correlation, but youd think that if something was cooking with Lever we would leave Frost as a trade option at trade week. Hes not moving now. The thick plottens.

Might give a 2nd rounder for him. Just isnt damaging enough , doesnt kick goals, doesn't tackle. Racks up a lot of cheap ball. Will that change at Melbourne? If your'e an outside player who averages 30 touches a game you'd wanna be kicking around 20 goals. He kicked 6 for the season.

7th in coaches voting, yet not even in the AA squad of 40. Should have been in the 22. It is really quite disgraceful.

Would gladly trade him for the right offer. Lets be real, hes been at the MFC for 9 seasons and had 1 very solid year (2016). The rest have been average to total garbage.

Well assuming we trade pick10 for Lever, we would surely take a midfielder at pick 27 as we need to stock up through there, in fact it is of ultra importance with Vince, Lewis and soon Jones coming to the end.

Gaff would be a great option for us. He fills a need , as you say, But how do we get him without giving up pick 10? No way would I trade that for him, and we need it for Lever.

1.3 million a year for Dusty, thats classic Richmond. Look hes a great player, but hes one chopsticks episode away from disaster. Either that or some bikey drama.

Either would be a dream, and id gladly pay a little overs. Both are the perfect cream on top of our contested ball winning midfield.
