Need to share this on Twitter for the clowns who are obsessed with our attendance figures. Without fail there are tweets about our supporters not showing up and/or MFC not “deserving” prime time games because of our attendance.

To get away from the AFL members this season I’ve got seats in the MFC area, Olympic Stabd M53 right on the 50. Unfortunately it is the last bay of the MFC area & the empty seats are constantly filled up by opposition supporters. It’s really annoying as I’d gone out of my way to avoid hearing opposition clowns.

This is pathetic. No other words.

Oh well if we’re leading the stats who cares about the scoreboard

Don’t usually post in the game day thread but that 2nd qtr effort was disgusting. Brisbane are hardly the toughest & they smashed us around the footy. We looked soft.

The barracking is painful to listen to but what kills me is the complete lack of professionalism from key callers, with Brian Taylor the main offender. He doesn’t know the players, makes outrageous calls on injuries and struggles with the rules. And he ain’t funny. I’d much rather a professional commentator like Nicholson or Bennett than listen to that fat [censored].

I’m in Reykjavik and have just woken up to this result. What a bunch of [censored]. They’ve gone back to pre2021 where you can’t trust them to execute the basics.

Thought similar at HT yesterday. We'd done a great job of shutting them down but would it be possible to do it for a whole game. We got our answer 😁

Just here to fess up, I was convinced Carlton were going to win, but I am a long term MFCSS sufferer. There were some really good patches and some horrible ones, our disposal was nasty Tomlinson was solid, and as has been mentioned his inclusion allows Lever to play the intercept role & that’s vital to our game. The smith experiment wasn’t the disaster I was expecting and whatever his shortcomings you have to credit him for having a great attack on the footy. Nice to see Salo getting back to his best. And thought Bowey & McVee were very good. Im the first one to criticise Fritsch but was happy to see him be a strong contributor

Harmes is easily the dumbest footy player alive. Was really disappointed with his effort today because when he’s on, he has a much higher upside than ANB, Spargo, Chandler etc. But he was trash

Hahaha - I'm the same, always hated him as a player, the king of snipers, so his coaching achievements have always been grudgingly admired. His late 90s Kath & Kim haircut always gave me a laugh though.

Don’t know about the rest of you but I took the close loss well. Called the dancing Ken Hinkley a Karmichael Hunt then threw the TV remote 🤣🤣🤣 In the heat of the loss I was filthy about the umpiring but the reality is we played only a qtr & a bit of decent footy. Can’t expect to win over there doing that. Our forward line remains yuck. Sadly Chandler, Pickett, Spargo & ANB all had bad nights, and were not sighted at the fall of the ball. Not sure how you can have the cattle we do but get smashed in clearances…something isn’t working.

We've had some good wins but against middle of the road opposition. When the forward line doesnt work it looks horrible. Of course should we win I'll be the first one on here praising our beautifully functioning forward line 😁
