The talk about appointing Buckley is 90% media hype and 10% demonland speculation I’m not a no for Buckley but I’d like the club to ignore the noise and focus on putting together the best recruitment process possible.

💯 to this. It’s very clear the players all respect Goodwin but they also seem very comfortable and/or complacent. No one likes change, especially when you feel comfortable, but I think the players desperately need to be challenged by a fresh approach

Regarding the board - I’d consider myself a nuffie who attends every week but feel a complete and utter dislocation from the admin of the club. It’s very Wizard of Oz, at times you’d question if they’re even real. I’m certainly disenchanted with the way the club has been run but I can hardly say ‘board member X has been a complete bust’. There’s very little transparency around their decisions or the reasons for them. The board feel like a faceless black box who make decisions with very little accountability. When it comes time to vote none of us know them and so the establishment picks get elected, they drink their own bathwater and we go through the cycle again. And we nuffies who turn up every week are given a pat on the head and told to ‘make some noise’ and get no real insight into how the club is run. FRUSTRATING

Currently enjoying sitting in front of two blokes who think 1970s strategies applies to modern footy. Getting some great insights like kick the skin off it Man up! Take your wallet out of your pocket Pickett and contest the footy Petty is only getting a game because he’s dating one of Goody’s daughters players didn’t have their weetbix this morning x3 (when you’ve got good material stick with it)

Agree, the AFLW needs work and you’re more than fair to say so. And you’ve said it in a clear and reasonable way. I’m just sick to death of hearing a certain delegation of man babies 💩 all over the AFLW. If they don’t want to watch it, fine, but I’m sick of hearing threatened sooks comllaining about it.
