It seems like Gus was the personality that kept the equilibrium in the group. A massive call to make about one player but it feels like he was THAT important. Chandler is the only one who has improved - and he has impressed this grumpy old lady, I didn’t think he had it in him. The only others are Lindsay & Langford, you can tell they’re made for it, just have to develop. By playing JVR as the kind-of second ruck the coaches have completely stalled his development as forward. And at the moment it’s really hard to see him going to the level where he becomes a serious forward. Rivers is another one who is going backwards at a rapid rate. Same will happen to McVee if they persist with the fantasy that he’s a midfielder And don’t get me started at the Windsor off half back experiment. I understand the logic, but we’ve been given a born wingman, why not allow him to develop there? Problem is not only are we trying to fill a hole off half back, we’ve recruited a few mid sized nothings who can only contribute on the wing (Sharp, Billings).

Can anyone confirm that Windsor’s kicking foot is the one with the infection? Cause he shanked two kicks early & at times seemed to be looking to handball rather than kick
