Whatever they are they stress me out

This is repeating the hundreds of other comments but Dogga has a lot of developing to do. Fremantle are paying a hell of a lot for potential.

My Dad was told by his grandmother that he wasn't allowed to have Big Bob Johnson as a favourite player as Big Bob was Catholic!

Grew up & live in the West and you get the Bulldogs shoved down your throat (which is why I can't stand them). Nothing worse than going to the Western Oval and being surrounded by them 😁.
  5. Saying ludicrous things about the team and/or players is part of the experience of watching. All you can do is look back and laugh.
  6. It was a great win but the 50 point margin makes it looks easier than it was. Sydney are a tough side & got our lead back to 6 points - was a great effort to push away from them and take a big win. Very happy with Grundy’s efforts today. And Rivers was very strong, good to see.
  7. The one Viney kick that hit a target was his last of the day - and it was on his right foot 😂
  8. Hahahaha, I called him a lizard at some point today
  9. I’d been trying to ignore it but can’t anymore
  10. I’m starting to worry Sparrow doesn’t have another level
  11. Just got into bed to discover the cat had spewed all over it. I think he’d seen the clearance differential.
  12. If there was a man capable of not thinking too deeply about criticism, Dogga is that man 😂 As many others in this thread have said, Fremantle have paid a LOT for potential and will need to be patient. Jackson is still learning his ruck craft & is not a clean mark (always two grabs). Time will tell.

Considering all the concussion talk going on at the moment Pickett is lucky to get 2 weeks, the AFL loves nothing more than taking a stand on the issue of the week. Cop the 2 weeks and move on.
  14. And Langdon on the MCC wing 😱

Can’t articulate this well but I cannot stand the ‘serious & concerned’ tone the likes of Taylor and other commentators use when a serious injury occurs. One second they’re complete buffoons and the next they’re patronising the audience explaining that a serious injury is serious.
  16. We should be less worried about Caroline’s prediction & more worried about the article saying ANB will spend more time on the ball
  17. I work in digital marketing & really rate MFC’s social content. They do an excellent job nailing the type of content us tragics/nuffies want to see. It’s a shame to see Ben leave, you can tell he’s got real rapport with the players.
  18. Any word on the reasons for Ratten’s sacking?
  19. Rude & rude. Coming from someone I'm guessing hasn't set foot in either.
  20. Not feeling great about this. A [censored] end to the season and a [censored] trade period. I’d like not to think about them until February.

Late to the party but isn’t Gunston a very similar player to Fritsch? He’s a very good player but I wouldn’t think a Gunston type is at the top of our needs list.

Imagine being paid millions to be an athlete and the one clause is 'don't be a [censored]' and you're not willing to commit to that 😆

Respect for Brown, a good honest footballer.

That result leaves a bad taste
  25. The politics of politeness & respectability are always a good way to shut down conversations people don’t want to have. ‘Now isn’t the time’ or ‘it’s disrespectful to discuss that right now’ are all great ways to shut down debate.
