  1. Mine are too but I don’t have them involved in discussions with my employer
  2. I realise I’m in the minority here but Trac is a grown adult, why are the club talking to his parents? At times it feels like these blokes are treated like giant primary school kids
  3. Conceding two goals in the last minute was disgraceful
  4. Since there’ll be about 20 of us at the MCG what sandwiches shall I bring? Who’s in charge of the cheese platter? Easter egg hunt at half time 😂
  5. My dating profile includes the photo of ANB spewing so don’t be shy about sharing this one. Let’s remember the good times 😂
  6. To complete this mental picture I’ve decided you were right near the Richmond cheer squad ‘Cop That’ banner 😂
  7. There was a point in that Richmond game where it got weirdly quiet around the ground, as if all the Melbourne supporters took a collective breath & realised we were pretty serious
  8. For a bloke who is quite average at his own job BT is super confident about critiquing the goal umpires. He’s always banging on about them not wanting to take responsibility for decisions by having them reviewed. I’m aussming but wouldn’t the review-happiness be an AFL directive
  9. Every time Adelaide hit a forward on the chest I’m like ‘ooo, nice pass’ But are they actually nice passes or is it that I haven’t seen any decent forward entries for 4 years.
  10. We have the potential to be first AFL club to play at the old Woomera range 😂
  11. I said it it yesterdays game day thread but it’s genuinely depressing how much Clarry has wrecked his career
  12. Chandler is the only one who has improved - and he has impressed this grumpy old lady, I didn’t think he had it in him. The only others are Lindsay & Langford, you can tell they’re made for it, just have to develop. By playing JVR as the kind-of second ruck the coaches have completely stalled his development as forward. And at the moment it’s really hard to see him going to the level where he becomes a serious forward. Rivers is another one who is going backwards at a rapid rate. Same will happen to McVee if they persist with the fantasy that he’s a midfielder And don’t get me started at the Windsor off half back experiment. I understand the logic, but we’ve been given a born wingman, why not allow him to develop there? Problem is not only are we trying to fill a hole off half back, we’ve recruited a few mid sized nothings who can only contribute on the wing (Sharp, Billings).
  13. Can anyone confirm that Windsor’s kicking foot is the one with the infection? Cause he shanked two kicks early & at times seemed to be looking to handball rather than kick
  14. Towards the end of the games James Brayshaw said something like ‘most teams hate playing at Kardinia Park’ which was unintentionally hilarious as most teams don’t have to play there
  15. It’s genuinely depressing to see how badly he has cooked his career
  16. Despite not knowing the rules and not being able to recognise players, Brian Taylor is ultra confident about criticising the umpires. The goal reviews are tedious but clearly they’re directed to do it
  17. My ‘trust me bro’ theory - this group know they’ve missed their window & it has infected the mood within club.
  18. Is there such a thing as a coaching CEO? We need a two for one deal 😂
  19. Yikes, imagine fronting up to Vossy after that
  20. This. You’ve nailed why I’ve disengaged from almost all footy media. Every discussion is turned up to eleven before they’ve started. Collingwood lose their first game suddenly they’re the worst team ever with a list of geriatrics. Sam Lalor makes a great debut for Richmond, the media christen him the second coming of Dusty Adem Yze doesn’t have the aura to be a good coach. Richmond win & that theory is in the bin. There’s endless examples but the saturation and the hyperbole become too much. Not to mentioned the background censorship from the AFL about what is and isn’t a story - eg the goings on at Geelong
  21. Random thoughts is it a touch arrogant to think Gawn can ruck alone all game? Not sure who is the driver behind this approach - eg is it the coaching panel saying we won’t play a 2nd, is it Gawn insisting he can carry the load. My point is, we can’t get away with it anymore Rivers is fast becoming a nothing. Let him go to half back, it’s where he’s played his best footy When May comes back into the side do we push Tmac or Petty forward. Cause something has to happen Trac has a long way to go in his recovery, maybe play him deep forward. It makes our forward line more formidable & a good defender has to mark him i found it enraging that Goodwin did NOTHING to counter their spare man not convinced about Jefferson or Turner. And those saying we’re missing Tholstrup, please, he’s not it
  22. We’re off off Broadway 😂
  23. The AFL is a mess of contradictions but I find it extremely odd that they have round zero in an alleged attempt to draw interest in the NRL heartland but don’t seem at all concerned about having no and/or very few FTA Saturday night games in NRL heartland. I think they are really under estimating how much of an advantage that blanket Friday, Saturday, Sunday coverage gave them.
  24. De Goey & Maynard - a phrenologists dream team
  25. In AJ’s defence it was a strong wind at ground level & it made that shot much harder than it looked
