Chandler is the only one who has improved - and he has impressed this grumpy old lady, I didn’t think he had it in him. The only others are Lindsay & Langford, you can tell they’re made for it, just have to develop. By playing JVR as the kind-of second ruck the coaches have completely stalled his development as forward. And at the moment it’s really hard to see him going to the level where he becomes a serious forward. Rivers is another one who is going backwards at a rapid rate. Same will happen to McVee if they persist with the fantasy that he’s a midfielder And don’t get me started at the Windsor off half back experiment. I understand the logic, but we’ve been given a born wingman, why not allow him to develop there? Problem is not only are we trying to fill a hole off half back, we’ve recruited a few mid sized nothings who can only contribute on the wing (Sharp, Billings).

Can anyone confirm that Windsor’s kicking foot is the one with the infection? Cause he shanked two kicks early & at times seemed to be looking to handball rather than kick

The AFL is a mess of contradictions but I find it extremely odd that they have round zero in an alleged attempt to draw interest in the NRL heartland but don’t seem at all concerned about having no and/or very few FTA Saturday night games in NRL heartland. I think they are really under estimating how much of an advantage that blanket Friday, Saturday, Sunday coverage gave them.

Gotta feel bad for Yze. For all his success Hardwick killed that list and I don’t see Richmond having the patience to stick with Yze through the growing pains. If they’re this bad all season the media will get a scent of blood and that will be it. Yikes, there's a few good ordinary footballers in there Kent always looked like he shoulda been but never quite got there. I always remember during our horrible run of 400 consecutive losses at Marvel my Dad shaking his head in disgust and saying 'for a bloke who's wearing Big Bob Johnson's number he'd want to lift his game' 😂

season 2023 was ordinary but we'll always have that we started Essendon on their losing spiral out of the finals
