  1. The haircut ain’t helping 😂 saw someone on Twitter describe it as wet dog hair
  2. To be a complete Debbie Downer I’m 💯 that we’re going to lose over there & bring that pressure right back on ourselves. And with all due respect to Melk who has been a good player for a long time he is DONE, the problem is there’s not much in the cupboard And if it’s a choice between Spargo & Sharp I’d go with the quick one. Not convinced Spargo’s pressure & 1%ers are enough to warrant selection
  3. Pretty sure it’s that mullet keeping Tholstrup in the side 😂
  4. He’s looked fantastic so far. My only query/flag/concern is that he is very very left-sided
  5. Norm could probably tell he was a [censored] of a bloke 😂😂😂
  6. Sadly my relationship with the club is more like this - quote Cathy in Wuthering Heights ‘My love for Heathcliff (Melbourne FC) resembles the eternal rocks beneath: a source of little visible delight, but necessary…He's (Melbourne) always, always in my mind: not as a pleasure, any more than I am always a pleasure to myself, but as my own being 😂😂😂
  7. If we’re choosing between three average players I pick the fast one - Sharp
  8. Strewth I don’t think the ANZACs fought for Hugh Sheridan to butcher Bridge Over Troubled Waters 😂
  9. First charges but not the first time Balta has been involved in a public punch on, he’s got form
  10. Why because I didn’t meekly sit back and thank the poster for patronising me? Besides that, who are you that I want your respect
  11. The response is exceeedingly patronising, literally mansplaining it back to me. It’s assuming that I know absolutely nothing about football. That’s what mansplaining is, without any evidence it’s been assumed I have no background knowledges and I need things explained to me I’ll break it down for you It's not hard to understand ...he plays for himself. Culture killer. Yes, I watch football and am aware that Jack Ginnivan is an extremely selfish player The best clubs understand that a team is a mix of people and personalities as much as football or positional abilities. Again, I have watched VFL/AFL football for 38 years, I am aware that teams need a balance of personalities & selfish players are not great teammates The pies are very strong and well run club and have a bold FD that act on what they are seeing. For the third time, anyone nuffie enough to be posting in a footy forum is likely to know that Collingwood are a well run club He's been OK at the Hawks in a team they were trying to inject personality into. Now they're getting serious he'll fall by the wayside. As I mentioned earlier, I watch footy & I know Ginnivan had a decent 2024 but hasn’t had a great start to season 2025 And after all of that my original question wasn’t answered. What I want to know is why Collingwood were happy to let go of a premiership player, one who they publicly supported on many occasions.
  12. Maybe the problem is tis new happy & relaxed version of Ross Lyon 😂
  13. This isn’t explaining what happened in the trade this is you mansplaining what you think me & my ovaries don’t understand
  14. There is something to be said for giving Chandler more opportunity further up the ground. He has the pace & he competes hard. Hopefully he’ll continue to get a run in that position rather than deep forward
  15. I’d love the tea on that trade. There’s got to be a reason they were so happy to get rid of him
  16. It’s funny isn’t it - even if we leave the Brayshaw stuff out of the conversation I’ve only ever viewed him as a sniper and yet he’s lauded as tough
  17. Taylor froths for Collingwood like they didn’t drop him for the 1990 premiership 😂
  18. Tholstrup straight in is insanity
  19. Claz & Spud Murphy from Trainspotting
  20. It seems like Gus was the personality that kept the equilibrium in the group. A massive call to make about one player but it feels like he was THAT important. I’ll never ever forgive that weak dog Maynard, or forget the pissweak response from the AFL. Or the fact the Collingwood fans cheered as Brayshaw was carted off. Outside of that I’m a completely sane & balanced person 😂
  21. And Horse hs a good track record of making the most of low skill players 😂
  22. Mine are too but I don’t have them involved in discussions with my employer
  23. I realise I’m in the minority here but Trac is a grown adult, why are the club talking to his parents? At times it feels like these blokes are treated like giant primary school kids
  24. Conceding two goals in the last minute was disgraceful
  25. Since there’ll be about 20 of us at the MCG what sandwiches shall I bring? Who’s in charge of the cheese platter? Easter egg hunt at half time 😂
