To get away from the AFL members this season I’ve got seats in the MFC area, Olympic Stabd M53 right on the 50. Unfortunately it is the last bay of the MFC area & the empty seats are constantly filled up by opposition supporters. It’s really annoying as I’d gone out of my way to avoid hearing opposition clowns.

Don’t usually post in the game day thread but that 2nd qtr effort was disgusting. Brisbane are hardly the toughest & they smashed us around the footy. We looked soft.

The barracking is painful to listen to but what kills me is the complete lack of professionalism from key callers, with Brian Taylor the main offender. He doesn’t know the players, makes outrageous calls on injuries and struggles with the rules. And he ain’t funny. I’d much rather a professional commentator like Nicholson or Bennett than listen to that fat [censored].

I’m in Reykjavik and have just woken up to this result. What a bunch of [censored]. They’ve gone back to pre2021 where you can’t trust them to execute the basics.

The smith experiment wasn’t the disaster I was expecting and whatever his shortcomings you have to credit him for having a great attack on the footy. Nice to see Salo getting back to his best. And thought Bowey & McVee were very good. Im the first one to criticise Fritsch but was happy to see him be a strong contributor

Harmes is easily the dumbest footy player alive. Was really disappointed with his effort today because when he’s on, he has a much higher upside than ANB, Spargo, Chandler etc. But he was trash
