Noise Pollution at the Footy
Been this way for years Often depends upon where you are sitting and the crowd. The larger the crowd around you the more "white noise" they produce which tends to soften the sound It's gonna get worse

CHANGES: Rd 06 vs Richmond
We now have 5 or 6 talls Ben Brown, T Mac, Weid, Fritsch, Luke J (and Mitch B) If they are all available only Fritsch self selects Next you need a relief ruck... does LJ hold his position on that basis alone or ?? Fascinating conundrum but no way you can play 5 I have no idea but is LJ the weakest link (BTW he has a great future)

CASEY DEMONS: Rd 01 vs Box Hill Hawks
Mainly BB playing the deeper role. Weid got most from heavily contested positions. Great games but remember the opposition played their best but many not in the same league. That being said you couldn't ask much more of either of them. Majak may become my favourite VFL player

CASEY DEMONS: Rd 01 vs Box Hill Hawks
Game seems to be petering out Lots of boundary line play Skill levels dropping off due to tiredness perhaps. Hardly a breath of wind and the sun has disappeared 100-54

Lovely time at the ground. Quite a few dogs. Ground in beautiful condition. Hot dog uninspiring but only four dollars

Ticketing for Rd 05 vs Hawthorn
Thought I might head into Docklands and use my AFL membership to watch Dogs v Suns but according to Ticketmaster no AFL tickets left !!! Usually you just scan in and sit on level 4 general admission. Lots of tickets for $25 but my AFL membership is supposed to provide free entry into all Melbourne games. Not happy..... as usual ?

CASEY DEMONS: Rd 01 vs Box Hill Hawks
There used to be a dedicated VFL website. Nothing fancy but it worked. Has now disappeared and everything is through the AFL site. I am afraid the reality is that they do not want to attract crowds beyond a couple of thousand at most as that would require significant money being spent on additional toilet facilities, attendants etc. Entry is free for most people (or it was) so no money there.

Training Ground?
That's where I guess Collingwood are looking along with Yarra Bend Park across the river
-
NON MFC: Rd 05 2021
Eagles played an almost Geelong type game style for large periods of the game. Strange

Training Ground?
Some of us have realised this for years. TBH if Casey were 25kms closer to the CBD it would definitely be the place. I am sure Collingwood is looking closely at a move. The problem is that these days there's not much space even in that 25km ring. Mind you there's a lot more than in Yarra Park

Ticketing for Rd 05 vs Hawthorn
Thought I'd get a ticket for Sunday. AFL member guess what... offered the same and opnly section that I was offered on Tuesday Level 1 open last bay near the Ponsford stand

NON MFC: Rd 05 2021
It was Docklands with a 100% capacity of just on 50k so 75% = around 38k of which Medallion club takes out a fair amount. I suspect a practical sell out would be around 35k It's a big issue for us next week if we can't get the Tiger supporters along as they are the paying supporters.

CASEY DEMONS: Rd 01 vs Box Hill Hawks
Interesting that the VFL fixture has been based on the AFL aligned teams playing on the same day as the AFL team play. Assume it was requested by the clubs to provide synch between the levels but given they play at different venues it is another knock on the VFL comp crowdwise.

NON MFC: Rd 05 2021
Saints 2020 was our 2018 but worse Other than King they don't seem to have much coming through Could be nasty if they do a North

CASEY DEMONS: Rd 01 vs Box Hill Hawks
Thinking of heading with my chair along so any details would be welcome. I assume MFC membership gets me free admission as in earlier years. If KC can give us the player numbers and possibly the team when available that would be great. Box Hill was the site of the Weid's big VFL breakout game so let's hope he can repeat it.

TV probably one game into Sydney... one into Melbourne Interest in the Sydney game outside Sydney would be very low

NON MFC: Rd 05 2021
In theory it's an easy tipping round as other than Crows v Freo there is a firm favourite in each match. Sure to be a few upsets though Richmond Eagles Bulldogs Swans (hoping for a GWS win though) Port Brisbane Freo Cats and of course US
