Every successful business goes around picking brains. We have umpteen part or fulltime ex D players as coaches at very good clubs. Some of them (clubs) used to be insignificant mud holes, their dances were alright. We need their know how here ASAP.

I'll say now that if we do not play at least at that level of intensity and more we will not beat Carlton. I was more concerned about the level of bias in the boundary umpiring, with bodgy and purposely misdirected throw ins and questionable line calls. Becoming quite common place this year now for regular confusion amongst the players with Field and Boundary and Goal umpiring decisions. I hope everyone is ready for what's going to happen with next year's coaching, because if you're a player and you're not, heaven help you.

I would be getting stuck into Hawks bigtime. Their (Melb) Football staff need repositioning back to us asap. Well, the ones that are worth it strategy wise. This has got to stop before we have no records left too.

Hey I was there for that number 2 in that stand as well. A lot of ups and downs in that last quarter. Where to look.... Couple of the earlier on games when I didn't really understand footy Bluey Adams speed and avoidance, just in awe, and Don Williams. How did he do that and so I studied and studied it......

Based on what I've seen to date this year, we do not have a gun player and because of the way the team is going, we do not look likely that we will have one in 2017 either. The closest to a gun is Max.

Wish I had have known how to trip without being caught by the umpires when I was playing. Far more effective than biting, pinching and back studding.

Another one sided scragging game marred by dozens of illegal disposals not picked up and fewer marks paid.

Another one of those good things happen when he has the ball in hand types. This year has done his confidence a lot of good and round him off for a big next year. A couple more tatts and up his endurance and we should all be wrapt.
