A bloke here at Daintree Pub said he heard on the radio up here that Frawley wanted a transfer back to Melbourne after being dropped for today's game, but I said we didn't want him and we didn't need him.

All he has to do is tell Frawley a joke that he doesn't understand and that will bugger him up for most of the game and with Gibson, just call him Henry and read him poetry.

It means some people say things to push one way, some people say things to push another way, which can get the result they both want. Like cops. Now, he has friends who respect his opinion. This might help swing opinions,. In turn help us with recruiting who we want.

"Good cop bad cop" aside, Melksham has come here and has been accepted. He is not talking in a vacuum to nobody (that's Irish) and I bet I know who he is talking to amongst others. If he is legit he has a solid close friend group who will respect his opinion, I will leave it there.

Quality mean thread

Just in regard to Melksham. We go through life making mistakes. I hope that Melksham by his decision to change his club sees the way ahead as something that he can do to make a new start for himself and his family. I wish him good luck in his rehabilitation as I would anyone else who takes this path.

Anyone know if the Russian whistle blowers had to move to Germany (to safety) well before the s##t hit the fan in relation to their Olympic Team debacle. Because apparently the German Press (not sure on this) got hold of the information but, once reported, no one was seemingly taking any notice of it in the IOC. To me this does show the value of whistle blowers and organisations like WADA who get accused of sitting on their hands making sure that courageous people are ok first.

This would be a massive trade in so many more ways than just Free Enterprise, and Restraint of Trade at work in the AFL. Unity in Strength, and are these blokes taking on the System. The mind boggles.....

Dunstall was right in the criticism but I can remember him often being quite unwilling to waddle. out of the goal square, or only to make a lead. I always see our blokes trying to create play, no problems there, only to be thwarted by delivery just short of the mark this year,

Now that Hibberd is in the bag, I wouldn't be that surprised to see Hurley down the track. Small waves syndrome. Melbourne does not make big waves usually in the cess pool, so we just let things settle and move on to the next target..... Don't unduly stress the AFL. Wouldn't be upset to see Judd on our horizon either.....

It is SWYL, but I am accepting it with an open, tired heart and old stirrings of Bay 16, this time next season with some of my sons to tend to my victory needs. Then we'll go around the other side and behave like gentlemen.
