I think MFC have been quite proactive in coming out first with their financial situation, and i also think that one of the first guides i would be looking for, when the money ball starts rolling would be concrete demonstrations from the top down, leading by frugal example . I also think that the relationship between MFC and MCC could be tightened, and there has never been a more consequential reason to start laying groundwork for our continuous existence even if it means hardball to some other Tenants. We have nothing to lose. Don't forget that the AFL's biggest contract would now have been promulgated. So i assume they are happy. We'll see how good they are when they have to hopefully play more of their games, this crazy mixed up season, in places where they aren't welcome..... As i said if it had have been Collingwood and Essendon they would have kicked up such a row that the Media and Eddy would have said it's a dead rubber and played again at a later date.And i bet the AFL told West Coast long before us... before we got on the plane even...

Had another think and don't believe they will even get to play a competition. At the very best it will be punctuated by so many blowouts by the last few rounds by Teams who will justifiably say who cares winning a Flag in a NOT season. Basically it just won't count...

In my opinion fold up the whole Competition for two months and in the meantime figure out some abridged alternative contest. The players health is more important than the very healthy competition. Just a point on supporters attending games or not. The media are desperately trying to do damage control here and i couldn't give a sh##. If you were a supporter of any sport in Australia today and you were told you couldn't attend the game where would you arrange to go and look. Yes that's right you would drive or walk to the nearest CLUB PUB or crowded, 100 plus people, Corona ridden smoke hole to see it and come home to your wife and kids and give them the virus..... think about it. League wins, Media wins, TAB wins, Alcohol wins, even Club wins......but you don't.
