We learn how to handle the Media, and they start to love us because we don't start making stupid predictions about the season. Only Club reps with an IQ above 100 are allowed to talk to the Media. We invite all the Umpires to come to the Club incessantly instead of going to Cats or Bummers period.... Razer gets an all expenses trip to Los Vegas or The Vatican depending on how he bounces, after the GF no strings attached...

In my opinion i don't think the best will necessarily, even if fit enough to get picked, will play. The season is too hard and too long. I would like to know how many players in an AFL squad actually play all the games? Who gets paced in and who gets nursed like Tigers and who peaks when. So if your/ we are not in the know, you're not going to know.

Thinking about how easy it was for Kelly to get to WC from the cats, is there going to be an already made Captain of the future at WC in this draft. I think that there will be. From our perspective have we picked up anyone from GWS fairly easily. Has a carrot been dangled to ensure the path of Green to GWS. I think there will be be. You are right DS, these stats are indisputable. Harder at it were Richmond, fitter, smarter and better coached. Would Cripps have dragged two on ballers and made it easier for creation type play. I don't know. Creativity and hardness don't usually gel. But could a Cripps ie a Green be the whole Martin package.

Green is a must. If you want to use the Cripps analogy, and you had have put Cripps, a gun mid, into the GWS side last game, they would have seriously shaken the "big tree in the sky"
