If i don't see variety, and not just in the LAST QUARTER, this year, along with controlled clever aggression, i will be very disappointed.

Anyone here see how the Tigers train, and that they have a near full list to choose from, have something to do with being injury free? Or is it that they have actually two carefully managed lists of players? For two separate parts of the season?

To be perfectly honest i think Roos leaving is a big loss for Fox, as for the Footy public generally, not so much. Probably we might find it a gain. Being one who also finds it hard not to speak straight, i could fully appreciate the conditions he would have worked under there. As to his comments, successful coaches meld to players not to media hacks....eg Barassi, Blight and Sheedy

I'm the same as above, give the season a chance to warm up and like the AFL itself you look back at the end of each year and say the standard gets so much better from the start to just near the pre Finals. That said i do worry that the number of pushes going on this season already just like last, in both AFL and AFLW, is going to cause a serious injury to someone if used to shove a player into another when not being able to have their body under control..... On top of that you get some commentating galah (not denigrating the bird) who, in one of the contests yesterday, says about what a great collision it was!!

Ex players like watching this particular game we have very closely. It is often touted about the intelligence and cohesion that a back line exhibits, a la Richmond. In my opinion these three along with our other main backline players could and should form a very formidable combination. We could have a great year in our backline alone..........

The island is moving closer to Victoria to the tune of 10cms per year..................be patient.

I feel sorry for people who don't wholeheartedly support a footy team, consequently i am never complacent, and always quietly confident. This year, more so............

Completely no regard for grand pa who wanted to pass with his kids around him..........

Fifty years on and i never had too many arm problems...someone said something about my elbows being too pointy though....i didn't understand what they were talking about...
