Agree. I was at the Pies/GWS game last week and IMHO I thought we would have definitely beaten the Pies had we been playing them.

I saw a few couples whilst at work today (Freo supporters) who originate from WA. They absolutely detest WCE and told me that they are right behind the Demons and will be cheering them on. They also assured me that their many relative back home in WA will be doing the same. I did not realise the hatred that exists. You might be up for a few $$$

I have had a lovely afternoon - kicked back and watched the replay and relived the glory of last night. God we were good... tough and completely switched on right from the beginning. I had a good look at the Geelong moron who dresses like a cat complete with the whiskers and claws - seriously?? My source tells me that the players all pulled up well after the game which is good. I think when Jones kicked that goal in the last quarter I actually believed we had this. At this point, the young lady sitting next to me began to hyperventilate so whilst I had the urge to slap her to snap her out of it (she was interrupting my moment), I had to get her to slow down her breathing and resssure her we were home. Thank God I was right?

Also one of my favourites. One of the nicest blokes I have met at the club. Not sure how I am going to break the news to my 20 something year old daughter either - she will be shattered. Glad he got his 100 games in. Looking forward to many Bernie Juniors playing for the Dees in years to come.

I know, I know - I get asked this a lot. He is actually a good guy and happily accepts the Melbourne membership I give him every year for Christmas. He is coming to the match next Friday and will be cheering for the Dees and wearing his members scarf. However it will be a completely different story if our paths cross with Collingwood in the finals!!

My husband who is a Pies man hates the fact Sam is playing for the Dees. I told him to suck it up. ?

This news is just so sad. Like many I am not a golf fan but have been inspired by Jarrod’s journey over the years and his fight to the end. I admired everything about him and I feel the utmost compassion for his beautiful young family. Too young, too soon. May he RIP??

This whole story is just so sad. What a brave, beautiful man and his wonderful, supportive family. I have worked in Palliative Care and he will be so well cared for with dignity and respect. My heart goes out to the whole family.

Ive been told by one of our players partners that quite a few of his former Dees team mates will be at the game supporting Jack. Nice touch by the boys. Shows how respected Jack was at our club.
