I am not sure if this has previously been mentioned but this weeks game helps raise vital funds for the Breast Cancer Network of Australia. For those that cannot attend, you can purchase a virtual seat for $25. BCNA are a wonderful organisation and next year the iconic Field of Women will be back. Just a reminder that 20,741 Australians are expected to be diagnosed with breast cancer this year.

I’m so excited about tonight’s game. My favourite game of the year ( finals not counted). It’s my first live game this year. Not living in Melbourne now, I have come to town for the weekend, saw a show last night, been to the LUME exhibition this morning and about to have a high tea with my daughter. A great win tonight will be the icing on the cake for me. Go Dees ❤️💙

I unashamedly sobbed for about 10 minutes after the siren went. I sobbed so much I was hyperventilating. My daughter thought I was in some sort of medical crisis and got me a paper bag to blow into. Through my tears I just tried to explain how happy I was and how I never thought I would see this day. She still looked at me like I wasn't quite right.

Two hours of yoga and meditation this afternoon have amounted to nothing. My heart rate is already through the roof.
