I am not sure if this has previously been mentioned but this weeks game helps raise vital funds for the Breast Cancer Network of Australia. BCNA are a wonderful organisation and next year the iconic Field of Women will be back. Just a reminder that 20,741 Australians are expected to be diagnosed with breast cancer this year.

I’m so excited about tonight’s game. My favourite game of the year ( finals not counted). It’s my first live game this year. Not living in Melbourne now, I have come to town for the weekend, saw a show last night, been to the LUME exhibition this morning and about to have a high tea with my daughter. A great win tonight will be the icing on the cake for me. Go Dees ❤️💙

I unashamedly sobbed for about 10 minutes after the siren went. I sobbed so much I was hyperventilating. My daughter thought I was in some sort of medical crisis and got me a paper bag to blow into. Through my tears I just tried to explain how happy I was and how I never thought I would see this day. She still looked at me like I wasn't quite right.

Two hours of yoga and meditation this afternoon have amounted to nothing. My heart rate is already through the roof.
