Kept saying every season I would venture up north to watch one of these matches. I liked the idea of sitting on the grass in the sun watching the footy. Missed the boat but fantastic news for the club ?

Thank God. My husband wanted me to order balloons etc for his office for next week - he was so confident that Collingwood would be in the GF.

Oh God - not sure I could handle another Collingwood GF. I get back from overseas on Tuesday and if Collingwood get through I will subjected to torment both at work and home??. Good reason to stay away for another week. I hope for my sanity, GWS do the right thing.

In fairness to my mental state, my husband is a Pies supporter so there was no chance I can extend my holiday even if I want to. I have told him he can go home and I will linger in Italy a bit longer but he was not too impressed with that idea ???

I am in Bellagio on holidays and just heard this sad news from a guest at the hotel. I know some of Spuds family so I am devastated for them. You just never know when your time is up. Embrace each day. RIP Spud.??

So happy for Max - he is the superstar in our team. I know he is disappointed with how the team finished up this season but he can hold his head high. I can’t even begin to imagine where we would be without him.

The thought of not renewing has never crossed my mind. My husband, daughter and dog will also get their membership renewed again. My parents and grandparents would roll over in their graves if I ever stopped being a member of the MFC. I think I would be haunted forever.
