I agree with all of you. I was at that game and so disgusted by the feral supporters around me and their jeering that I left and went and sat downstairs. I will never forgive their No 4. I cannot watch a Collingwood game and I cannot even utter that thugs name. Even seeing his face makes me tune out. He ended Gus’s career and suffered no consequences. In fact he got rewarded which really rubbed salt in the wound. There is a special place in hell reserved for people like him.

Totally agree. It's especially bad if you are unlucky enough to sit on the aisle. I spent so much time at a recent game standing up, sitting down then standing up again and having beer slopped over my boots and jeans. Then the men all have to go to the toilet as the beer hits their guts. As far as the food is concerned, I always bring my own. Cannot stand the junk they serve up. My husband however loves it - pies, hot dogs etc. He always says I am an embarrassment with my sushi rolls, pack of nuts and fruit. I don't care - I just will not eat the overpriced junk they serve up. When my daughter was at Uni she used to work at the MCG in hospitality. Some of the stories she told me about food preparation would put you off eating anything at the footy.

Out of interest I just had a look at the Qantas website and you can get an economy fare for $282. i went to the GR this year and whilst I enjoyed seeing the Dees win, I wasn’t that impressed with the Adelaide Oval as such. Expected much more. We stayed with friends in the Adelaide Hills so that was great but don’t think I would bother again.

I would need to shower in disinfectant if I uttered those words 😬
