IMO Go for Sheedy as CEO MC as Captain next year Jones and Grimes as VC. Eade for Coach. All the above would inspire current and potential players.

My impression after watching some replays is the players aren't interested and are getting away with murder. Potentila young guns Viney and Toumpass have no mentor to follow. Yes Junior left way too early. Seeing the likes of Yze, Green, Rivers, Petterd(starring at Tigers) , Moloney(blitzing at Brisbane)...well it's terribly disheartening. What to do? A messiah of sorts is certainly required from CEO, Coach and Captain. IMO we already have the Captain in Mitch Clark with VC's Sylvia and Jones. How about Sheedy for CEO with Rodney Eade as Coach. Players now would have something to aspire to and "potentials" some reason to to change clubs and come to Melbourne.

Neeld and the board sure "cleaned out" as some suggested should of happened while Daniher was coach. Sad thing is the next coach will have to clean out again the likes of Rodan, Sellar, Byrnes, Pederson along with paying out Jamar who we would of been free of if not for Neeld. Truth is Neeld will never attract any good players. He simply hasn't got it. The vibe is not there. The longer he stays the worse it will be for Melbourne's young developing list. Don't believe everything you read and hear. You're Craig and Viney comments are off the mark. Been reading the Herald Sun too much? Andrew Bolt? Would have to be a Craig/Viney ticket surely. Barassi survived in 81 because he had massive lineage, a five year plan and love to go with it. Neeld has experience with Collingwoods midfield(rumour has it Buckley was happy he left), and has gone from bad to much worse and that after making some horror calls with Maloney, Petterd and Rivers. His judgement is further clouded by the decision to import Pederson, Byrnes and Rodan along with being part of offering Jamar 3 more years. Ad further his horrendous game plan and most of all the general Vibe of the man. Sorry but GWS may well be his final match if margin is over 30 points. IMO he'll survive till round 17-18. Melbourne will beat GWS

how about go into GWS with Magner, Gawny up forward with Clark and Watts chf. Spencer to start in Ruck changing on interchange/Deep Forward Pocket with Gawny. OUts obviously include our "Russian" he may benefit from a couple of runs in the two's, a rest for Toumpass and Garlo.
