Christian Salem Re-Signs for 5 Years
Travis Boots replied to dazzledavey36's topic in Melbourne Demons
Trac and Oliver already both on over 700k, wouldnt have thought that they will take up THAT much more capspace than they currently are i guess it depends on how much Salems current contract is worth. If hes been getting unders like 350-375k then it starts to get trickier but if hes already on 450-500k then i dont see it being an issue -

Trac and Clarry are both already on over 700k. There is no need to move on BOTH Brayshaw and Jackson. They’re not going to be getting more than 900-950k on their next contracts and Brayshaw is already taking up around 625k -

It was in The Australian (disclaimer: i would prefer a sewing needle through the eye of my [censored] than subscribe or buy that joke of a paper) Last June or July. Top 100 earners in the AFL. For some reason i was able to access it but now its behind the paywall for me again https://www.theaustralian.com.au/subscribe/news/1/?sourceCode=TAWEB_MRE170_a&dest=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.theaustralian.com.au%2Fsport%2Fafl%2Fafl-rich-100-who-are-the-afls-highestearning-stars-see-the-players-ranked-51100%2Fnews-story%2Fd6052138cb2be56ce41f2059386ef132&memtype=anonymous&mode=premium -

Inconsistent, poor kick, only contests centre square (his favoured position) if someone is injured and has struggled when being played on a wing etc. We cant afford to be carrying him into 2022 on 625-650k given these issues. add to that we are going to need to find more cap space for Clarry (prob 150k more) and some for Salem and realistically the club would prefer to front load however much possible on Olivers contract to make it easier to accomodate Petraccas next contract the following year. -

Brayshaw is going to have the sacrifical lamb and be traded if we are to accomodate Oliver, Petracca and Salem contract extensions. He’s taking up around 625k of cap space and plays his best footy where we are already heavy on options -
If it was a carlton home game i would imagine it would get another 5-8k or so given their expecations for the season. Edit: my bad, just realised it is a carlton home game ? Hawthorn’s crowds will really drop off as well imo if they go as expected (bottom 4). The fact that they experienced a prolonged period of success along with them being a bandwagon group of supporters as it is wont bode well

During member pre sale it would only offer 3 or 4 sections on level 3 behind the coventry end goals... jumped back on at 1.30 (wasnt paying attention to the time) as i needed grab another non member ticket for a saints [censored] friend to sit with me and ended up getting level 1 on the 50m line 2/3 of the way back. Go figure

mcg = ticketek marvel = ticketmaster

Really? Weird its not recognising your barcode or you cant get on at all? https://www.ticketmaster.com.au/st-kilda-v-melbourne-docklands-27-03-2021/event/25005A6CC6AA27DC

Ticketmaster lol
-
Damn, only level 3 left ?
-
If there is a home and away member who wont be attending and can share their barcode with me it would be much appreciated. ? I have my own but my friend who is coming with me doesnt have one and i can see a situation unfolding when it goes to general sale where it wont give me the option to use my membership for the general admin entry and having to pay the entry plus the seat upgrade
-
Not based on any official but i doubt we’ll get over 26000-28000
-
Because its not possible to facilitate all seated premium members to be sitting so close to each other when there arw capacity restrictions in place. I would say 65-70% of our supporters sit in the olympic/mcc section alone
-
Managed to get a couple of bays across my usual seat into the legends section
-
Emailed them and they sent me a new code which also worked on this years merchandise ?
-
So frustrating...had the fleece hoodie in the cart with discount applied, changed my mind and wanted the team jacket instead ...nope...wont accept it. terms state MFC merchadise is not incl in the discount promotion but is working on selective items. [censored] annoying. the discount has progressively got worse. Remember the first one years ago? 70% from memory
-
Wow, thought he was 26-27!
-
Not wanting to defend him or anything but i “think” this may all tie in with an annoucement on Goschs Paddock becoming an exclusive training/administration facility for the round ball code
-
Its nice to finally get some substance on whats “really” happening during our pre season. i know the posters who attend training and provide updates mean well, but theres never anything to really take away from reading the usual “player x/y - running out from defensive 50 drill” blah blah etc

Live pick swap with pies if mcrae doesnt get picked by gws would make sense edit: :(
