Congrats Liam. Some really good shots in there with only a few that look anything like mine. I am really good at getting the vacant ground where the player was or Hiram just in the picture. I tried to consider them works of art but ultimately left the photographing to people like you who can really capture the movement and atmosphere in a single shot. Thanks for sharing.

Every player is different and has different motivational requirements . The club needs to ensure each player is given the appropriate advice positive or negative at the time it is required for their advancement.. it ant easy but it ain't rocket surgery.

I'd like to think I could join the illustrious company as wing man. Running back and forward with no apparent value but an annoyance to some and able to lob a comment as devils advocate . But mainly observing as the talent surrounding me accomplished feats of bewildering esoteric brilliance .Always ready with a supportive gesture to link the seemingly innocuous into a higher realm. But really just wondering where does this disparate group of geniuses live and what attracted them to this field beyond their passion for red and blue. Maybe that's why I'm not even on the bench?

Constant Coordinated Rotation has to be the option. Churn. This rotation where selected ff leads out and selectedflanker runs in to that spot, all forwards consequently churn around to a structured position.. This not only means there is separation and forwards do not impede each other but also creates match up issues that can be exploited. It also creates space due to movement and provides anticipatory reaction as forwards know where their teammates will be. Requires discipline in knowing where teamates are and where opposition are. If opposition does not pursue opponent then a clear target is provided.

Easy to see how correspondents can be conflicted on this significant issue of world order. We cannot allow this next generation of royals to undermine the rightful roles of the monarchy. Surely some country sites that are smoke free alternatives. i can't recommend NN Vic (we are generating the smoke still). Also provide country Dlanders to meet greet and contribute trading reports to relieve our dedicated Goschs watchers.

Wow great work Od especially in adding the games totals. Didn't realise Jeff White had so many games with us. Indeed many of the proportions were unexpected even from Ne involved in the preparation. The wine possibly clouded my considerations and yes surprising to see Crosswell only played 76 with North. His MP act seemed far greater than his 48 with us. Maybe a chance to look for a country location where smoke is not so prevalent. I don't recommend NE Vic (we are still generating most of it), but surely there are some smoke free zones. Relocation not only gives country members a chance to relieve Dland posters but also shows clubs concerns for players buildingcommittment and a change which may refreshes interest. As they are scheduled to go North some of these factors are already acknowledged.

Training watchers indicated he was training solidly and well. The break may have been a negative if he came back and tried to step up at the same level. Alternatively it could be nothing at all. He is a key player for us and it would be good to get some official advice from the club if for no other reason than to reassure demonland. Although our propensity to exaggerate doom may only be enhanced through an announcement, maybe better to let us all diagnose with no fracking idea. i favour swine flu following Ann announced holiday in China. Saty, while I understand "consistent, competitive" is a success, I did think that your passion like mine expects winning from our fantastic list. It's the first time in a while we have such a good blend of fit, young, old, fast, slow, big, small, determined, skilled, journeymen and maybe even x factors. There seems to be an improved attitude training with intensity and purpose. i am really positive with them and our supporters to encourage each other and work on that above the shoulder confidence to achieve above and beyond just being competitive.

And surprisingly it seems the payment of volunteers has quite a few unexpected conditions. He'd make an excellent AFL board member.

Shouldn't be any need for any donations. The PM stated early on and subsequently that he has it all covered. Donations by celebrities and rich is just a different form of income distribution, and your right it's a long journey. Governments of all persuasions have difficulty making/selling/undertaking long term policies. Perhaps we are not prepared for that.

Not sure, but don't believe he did. There were many "buzz words/phrases" at the time but Hook was fantastic in stressing structures and components, individual traits and organisational.He always stressed the difference she between organisations but his practical application to his footy experience was very insightful.

Totally agree FIP. when I did my degree (Phillip Ins 90s) one of my lecturers was ?Hook who was one of the key personnel at the Hawks. He stressed the total structure as you outlined. i am hoping we have that same blend now and the ability to recognise and build "our" decade of success.

Great work Macca, and while I agree with all you say, I would add that in agreeing with the statement "captaincy is overrated" I would add that leadership is not. Leaders are not always appointed or elected but often emerge. I can't provide supporting references without a lot of research through my library of HR, business and management sources, but I assure you my own experiences verify that conclusion. i would imagine that the examples you provide would identify a leader or lack thereof in every circumstance. The difficulty that this organic emergence created combined with the diversity of circumstances that require leadership may have had something to do with the multi structure models that were promoted for business and political purposes. Control and command models which are again being promoted in the current bushfire situation and embraced by politians to justify their existence can be fine and n some circumstances but are restricting in others. Still the considerations of these models will continue and it will be interesting to see how MFC deal with this. Good discussion starter.

Can't make it down, busy keeping an eye on Tennis, Cricket, Basketball, NFL and the new emerging sport ember watching. Im restricted from active fire fighting due to groin injury, now have a greater understanding of players frustration and attempts to play when injured.. training reports are a beacon for me so please don't hold back.
