Looking like a nice kick in the ass early for Norths %. Thanks Hawks
-
The odds are great. Multi it into finals 2017 and you get a nice little pay out. Now what to spend my money on?
-
So has every team in the league. It happens. Top of the ladder Hawks will say the same thing about the weekend if they win the flag.
-
He completely lacks intensity, panics and puts teammates under pressure just to avoid being tackled, and individually costs us more than a couple goals a game. Should be at Casey developing, not being reassured his current effort is acceptable

THE MOST AWESOME POST MATCH THREAD EVER!!!
tappysquads replied to red and blue forever's topic in Melbourne Demons
I had my 3rd knee reco last Friday from just this -
Jetta- TMac-Salem Hunt-Frost-Hibberd (Wagner, Bugg,Lumumba,White) Melksham-Viney-Vince (Brayshaw,Oliver,Kennedy,ANB,Newton,Trengove, stretch) Petracca-Hogan-Kent Watts-Weed-Garlett (Vanders, Pedo,Harmes,) ruck-Gawn-Jones-Tyson Finally, we will have players I want in the team who don't fit due to depth! Snag one or two surprises in the trade period and it starts to get exciting

The Jesse Hogan Panic Room - all contract talk here
tappysquads replied to Grapeviney's topic in Melbourne Demons
I'm so used to negativity at Melbourne I had accepted he was leaving and actually convinced myself he wasn't that special and we would be better off with a trade than keeping him. But now......... -
4 Points Stretch really showing something, very creative Watts a leader Brayshaw best game for the year Frost was our best key defender Hunt!!!! Love the ball in his hands Vanders could have had 6, best forward on the day we are Melbourne supporters, got our 9th win for the season, how about a little positivity?

Yep... He got the match ups wrong though. -
MATCH PREVIEW AND TEAM SELECTION - Round 17

His contract tells a different storey. He's a good player, so he will play as long as he wants, would just rather play local football with his mates away from the pressure -
MATCH PREVIEW AND TEAM SELECTION - Round 17

not really. He hates footy, really doesn't care. It's just a job. Plus I'm sure the saints couldn't care less about someone mentioning a rumour on a Melbourne fan forum -
MATCH PREVIEW AND TEAM SELECTION - Round 17
tappysquads replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
My mate plays for Saints. Said the plan during the week is Gilbert to Hogan, Dempster to Watts. Might have to slap some $$$ on Hoges for most goals -
Heard it there, but it continues to mentioned all over the place, always being tied to Sydney. I bloody hope not, but it always seems to end up the player leaving when they won't sign on. And I heard Melbourne had a good offer on the table and he wasn't interested. I'm not listening to a random SEN caller, but generally when there's a shitloood of smoke, there's fire
-
Sad to say looks like everything is pointing to Tom being at Sydney next year. Way too many whispers saying he has already agreed with them, their list has huge holes with retiring players as key backs. No one puts off contracts and then signs at the end of the year. Dissapointing as I think he will turn into AA defender
-
Lucky we signed Spencer on again earlier this year
-
And wasn't the other one a toe poke off the goal line? He was horrible. His effort has been very poor for a few weeks. Even the game he kicked 4 his effort/work rate was pretty poor

The Jesse Hogan Panic Room - all contract talk here
tappysquads replied to Grapeviney's topic in Melbourne Demons
Tim Gossitch (no idea if that's how you spell it) the WA reporter for SEN just ended his section by saying emphatically "I'll leave you with this, there is no way Jesse Hogan will come back to WA, I'll give you more information next week". Only small, but enough to get me excited -
Your Dawes description describes his whole career Kent doesn't lack confidence, he lacks effort. He can [censored] off there was nothing unmemorable about Trenners, just to run into the field was special. His performance was promising
-
He lacks intensity completely. That effort where he ran back to the loose ball at half pace and Poppy got him what should of been holding the ball was embarrassing. He's a kid who hasn't YET adapted to senior intensity. We are now playing to win, not develop, and Dunny offers a lot more currently. I thought frost was great defensively today. Got enough ball himself, looked to break lines at all times. Couple of turnovers but that's not ever going to be his weapon.
-
I was all about Kent pre season, but today was disgraceful. His effort and pressure is non existent, and his work rate to get involved and hands on the ball is miles off AFL standard. Garlett was equally poor but he is likely to kick 6 next week so cannot be dropped. Out- Kent, Omac (Not ready) In- Kennedy, Dunny I would take Pedo every day over Dawes. He is irrelevant on the field. Cannot catch a ball. On a positive, Trenners worked into it, so happy to see his performance. Vince, Tyson and Jones were phenomenal with their effort

It wasn't a real serious post, of course best team at all times

Would be amazing to see Trenners back, but gee I'd hate to see him come back in a game where we get smashed.Hold him backs week. QB comeback in front of a massive crowd, we roll the Pies and Wattsy kicks 7. That would be fitting

MATCH PREVIEW AND TEAM SELECTION - Round 10
tappysquads replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
It just makes so much sense to play him there. Real fast, tall, strong, tackles hard, and actually works hard to break lines and links up off half back (GWS and early last year). Will never be an elite kick, but his kicking is acceptable. He is 0% a forward. If we had any other option for fwd/ruck we probably wouldn't have wasted a year of his development in the back half -
MATCH PREVIEW AND TEAM SELECTION - Round 10
tappysquads replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
He's a much better player than Fitz. Better skills (still not good, but better), aggressive, can mark a football, and not completely uncoordinated! I think he will develop into a best 22 CHB -
SEN reporting Robbie Gray will be at least fined for tripping, his 3rd fine which equals automatic suspension. Massive bonus for us
