CASEY: Rd 05 vs Richmond
I think the problem today was both Tommy & BBB playing in the same forward line. It really magnified the issue...they were both so slow. It's more likely we will see Ben back but only if he can get some mobility. I doubt we will see both back in at the same time.

She really struggled but I guess you've got to start somewhere...

It was pretty funny when he kicked it to Sestan...

Not yet, but needs a bit more time in there to develop. I hope they push his midfield minutes up a bit as it gives us some more versatility.

Has he missed or could he come in as sub... He was one that was really missed today as he does use the ball well.

I'd put Turner in there as well...particularly the last Q he was throwing himself at everything and showed some urgency.

I think that was pretty obvious today...JVR already gives us a better aerial contest and is better defensively. Looks like Petty might have the forward gig until we can find someone else. Turner would be the next up after today I would think, probably would have played if the Tiges didn't have injuries to talls.

Of course you are right there...and that's part of what bothers me. To make it as an AFL KPF you really have to back yourself in. You really need that confidence that you are the man... Senior player or not, he is playing for his football life and needs to take the opportunity otherwise end up like Lucas Cook...nice guy, could play a bit but not cut out for it. He's going to be an interesting watch.

Seriously, you need a lesson in comprehension...

Early days but I'm not seeing much to enthuse from Jefferson. Just doesn't really get involved.

CASEY: Rd 05 vs Richmond
This was a big problem today...with BBB and Tommy, the Tiges just walked the ball out with ease. There wasn't much forward pressure at all and it needed to start with the senior players.

One thing I would agree with the commentary on today. Tommy looks like he's running in treacle.

CASEY: Rd 05 vs Richmond
Yep, I think that will be the case from now on.

CASEY: Rd 05 vs Richmond
I think Harmes picked and chose when to go a bit a times, but he was pretty good on the whole.

CASEY: Rd 05 vs Richmond
Agree, and it also showed why we can't play both in the same team at senior level.

...and the field kicking which has cost us time and again.

CASEY: Rd 05 vs Richmond
...and that's why Tommo isn't playing senior football. why would you open out the goals with a blind handball...

Ben & Tom look a mile off AFL level at the moment. Couldn't run out of sight on a dark night.

CASEY: Rd 05 vs Richmond
I think you're right 'Neil', he doesn't look like hitting a target. The only one who can kick a ball where it's supposed to go is Sestan. ...and he needs to get more of it. Even though the commentator seems to call Sestan for every player she doesn't know the name of.

NON-MFC: Rd 06 2023
I'm wondering how much last weeks win took out of the Swans. Playing undermanned in key positions puts a lot of strain on your other players to cover. Their mids looked to be running in quicksand last night...probably the worst game Warner has played and Gulden was continually caught with the ball.
