Not sure if it has been said but I was impressed by Michie at half back last week with his ability to get back and take a few good intercept marks. This is something I have not seen Salem do very well previously and could be the reason why he was dropped.

He needs to be delisted to become a delisted free agent. Why would Essendon in their right mind delist a player who would net them a band 1 compo if he leaves as a RFA. and why would Hurley even bother trying to take another avenue when he is a free agent?

His a free agent, no one needs to trade. Essendon will get band 1 compo (pick 3)

The fact that Hogan struggles at distance explains why he doesn't lead to the ball. He can't make the distance of he does so he always needs the mark in deep.
