  1. It's not a bad lurk is it? The most populous State and other clubs can't access them. Colless can stick his gentlemans agreement up his arse.
  2. Col had a reasonable season. It would have to be a very good deal to part with our most talented player.
  3. belzebubsy, did I read your comments on Paul Roos on Dangerous Ground?
  4. For me, Col was the standout player for the season. We expect excellence from Nat Jones but Col lifted his game in the face of huge adversity. He has improved every aspect of his game and its a credit to his character.
  5. I'm not sure it beats Tim Tebow but it opens the floodgates to any suggestion. I'm thinking Shannon Noll or Guy Sebastian could play a role.
  6. For me, it will be how often I walk to Richmond station before 3 quarter time. 5 this year. 3 would be better.
  7. If the situation was reversed I'd still be pinching myself that the AFL paid for us to get Tippett after we've just won a Premiership.
  8. If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster And treat those two impostors just the same: Kipling. Very easy to cope with triumph. Harder, as we have done, to deal with disaster. Especially when the Afl tells the Swans that they will never have to.
  9. Apparently that's ok. I say [censored] em.
  10. But that's not Roos's fault that they had so much cash to throw around to begin with. It's the AFL's relentless drive to give interstate clubs a leg up that has created this. And, of course, when a club is so used to getting anything they want, when something doesn't go their way it's as if the sky is falling in. People talk about the Swans culture, and rightly so, but it's a damn sight easier when money can paper over any cracks and that, my friend, is exactly what happens.
  11. Stone signs with us, Colless's composure crumbles.
  12. I agree HH, but it is also clear to me that there are journalists who regard teams like the Swans as immune to criticism. Ok, we didn't get a priority pick but the Swans, GWS and the Gold Coast get so many concessions that equate to so much more than an extra player choice. [censored] me to tears.
  13. In case you cannot get through on that link the article is 'Paul Roos on dangerous ground'.
  14. http://www.theroar.com.au/2013/09/25/paul-roos-on-dangerous-ground/Massimiliano Sestito Under the guise of 'go get em Roos' I have just made comment on one of the most ludicrous pieces of journalism I have ever read. Fill free to follow suit.
  15. I thought he was a little lucky tonight to be honest. Great player but I thought Selwood had a more influential season.
  16. He's the one we need to get. Confident he can be turned around and equally concerned we are looking at mids who may be great stats wise I.e Swallow, at the expense of a little bit of brilliance.
  17. That's ok Yorkie. It's just that we are all experts here and don't take kindly to the opinions of others.
  18. Sorry, thread reads radio, not TV. My mistake.
  19. I know others love him but I've never understood the Dennis Commetti love. I just don't get the contrived humor that you just know he's been working on prior to the game.
  20. Give us a spell. The bloke hasn't played an official game yet.
  21. I have wondered about the machinations of picking up Martin outside of the draft. Is that a possibility?
  22. We must get the colcher rite. I agwee.
  23. Or should I say active DH's
  24. Are you sure Soidee. Go through that Premiership line up and he transformed the careers of at least 3 budding DH's
  25. And well said Bradvermont.
