That's just not true. The players will learn from a tough, tight loss far more than you think. The reality is that we have been getting flogged in the last few years and it does take time to learn how to win the close ones. It's too easy to regard the loss as a waste of a game.

The boys took it up to a side near the top of the ladder. For mine, it was a cracking effort. Very stiff in the end to lose.

Here's the thing. We lost by a goal but could have been blown away. The list will be culled but it was not an atrocious performance IMO. It was a frustratingly uneven performance.
