I'm afraid I will have to give up on Special Robert. What little sympathy I ever possessed has ended. My guess is he is in dire need of a bath. Theres enough of those downstairs who will be taking up bridge space shortly. The only job I could give him is delivery boy taking small emergency packages for the needy from the Gat to the Bridge via a few hostels and clubs. I am willing to provide an illegal monkey bike for his transport and $2 per delivery. I can't be any more generous than that

I'd like the tigers dr to look him over just in case.

Maybe they were imaginary crutches.Otherwise it would melt the server here.

The fact is with Garland,Frost,Smith and Hibberd out,Omac is certain to play.

I reckon Kent in,Smith out injured.

We cannot dispute your knowledge in this field .

Young kids at the game - Fans were fantastic!

Nice story AngyFijian. Usually Melbourne fans are not very happy,or nice. Fortunately, you caught them on a good day. I have concerns about your daughter being renamed Max Gawn. But these days anything goes. -
We must be 2nd favourites for the flag behind Richmond.

THE DROUGHT IS OVER by George on the Outer - POST MATCH DISCUSSION
Biffen replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
Goodwin took my advice and started the forward flanks off the half back line.It gives the mids more running options and /or tacklers if we lose the bounce. Lets the mids take the ball forward with momentum, not timidly. Frost will make us a better side when he gets on. Does anyone think ANB keeps his spot? I am spewing about young Joel Smith though we have about 7 more half backs in rehab. The inclusion of Frost and Hibberd soon will increase the speed of our attack. Having Kent,VDB,Tyson,Harmes,Pederson Frost,Hibberd waiting to come back in plus JT,Spencer shows our incredible depth . Now Hannan has shown he can play. We finally have about 30 decent players to pick from (injuries permitting). -
If our entire team came out with man buns that would annoy the saints. We might be accused of cultural appropriation on the down side.

This first quarter will be the most important quarter of the year up until the second quarter .

Lent.

I've already added 300 doses of LSD to their gatorade supply. If we lose it will be on a sub-conscious level, but I expect Jack Steven and co will be looking for buttercups and daisies in the grass by half time.

Maverick might deserve that criticism but I would prefer we out meditated him .

i think that's unnecessarily vitriolic Ethan. We don't need to see Nick cry, nor do we need his hair dirty.

So only half a week, every week. Not much.

Nearly 50% of the players on Saturday have a first name beginning with J. Quite Astonishing. Lots of Jacks and Jakes.

Looking forward to hearing the words "inundated"and "deluge" in the news. Been too long.

I'm fairly confident ANB will solidify a spot this year. He is not terribly dynamic but he is a good leading mark and a reasonable shot on goal, and a good tackler. I'm more worried about two debutantes in one match but nothing ventured..

It's more like a consumers rights group in essence. I'm not sure it would be cheer squad member based. It could conceivably be run by a chair and club reps meeting monthly over the internet and setting an agenda. If it grew a seperate fund from it's members it could then presumably grow in power and numbers. The AFL wouldn't like it but if it had an eloquent spokesman with media contacts I'm sure they would be forced to take it seriously. Good luck to em

If you set one up that was not endorsed- like a fans union with club representatives it would pressure the AFL into actually listening to consumer complaints. I take your point re toothlessness but if membership became large enough then a fans union could influence afl decisions and get a few things changed. There seem to be 4 major players. The Afl/teams/players The Media outlets The sponsors/ advertisers The Fans 3 of the 4 interested parties have a direct say in the game, fixturing, spending. The fans currently have talk back radio and supporter sites like this to air their gripes.Nothing official. A union of fans from all clubs would certainly be a worthwhile venture if run properly.

Absolutely needed. Good idea and will quickly and quietly be able to lobby for fans to cut out annoying concepts the AFL comes up with in their brain dead storm sessions..... "let's play ads at full volume during the entire break periods" Fans association-" no let's not " "We want the catering contract thrown open and changed"
