  1. That was a pretty good article right up until the last paragraph where the author actually admitted to attending an Andre Rieu concert. Firstly because ,Boof Lehman has nothing whatsoever in common with said performer but also because Andre Rieu has done for classical music what Mozart achieved for panel beating. Otherwise, not a bad read dee-luded.
  2. He doesn't pay for them. You can have a community discussion with the company after which they will simply acquire it. You will come out the meeting relieved that you are not receiving social welfare for the minerals on your farm and that you are helping this poor man beat the evil government that was trying to eat into his profits with their insidious tax on the "hard working" miners.
  3. I stand corrected. Also ,Meccano,Elvis Costello(some would argue)and a fairly good football team.
  4. Who was she fighting against Old Dee?
  5. It might be Nam. WJ is good at avoiding conflict so I trust his ball never came up.
  6. Nothing good ever came out of Liverpool WJ. I dont expect them to 'fly'. but thanks for keeping an ear to the ground in the local music scene.
  7. Who are The Beatles? Not really into British underground acts?
  8. As he is in the fashion industry it will be "darls" or "doll"or "lovee".
  9. It only seems like a worst case scenario. She'll slip into "the life" .
  10. I prefer the sea air. Interventions are banned here. I was arrested ata Family First Victory Party(Again)
  11. Not quite. It took me a while to understand the concept that the rules apply to me also. Fkn bunch of squares . I'm carrying these days in case someone tries to pull that intervention sh!t again.
  12. Relegated to page two. This thread is running low on zinc and potassium.
  13. I think the answer for Australia for the next few years is older batsmen/younger bowlers. We should persist with Smith, khawaja,Rogers ,Clarke and Warner and even Cowan.Hughes and Watson need to sought out technical issues.Haddin should make way for Jumping Jeremy Howes cousin. The spinner issue will go on for while.I would love to see Agar develop his bowling along with Smith who never gets much of a roll?If these guys can have success we wont need Lyon. Our pace bowling spots are easy to fillcurrently .Harris should play if fit as should Pattinson.Bird,Starc,Cummins are all worthy of test selection
  14. good to see the J Bird in. He will take 300 plus test wickets in time. Control.....
  15. I think we should meet in Innisfail-an economy under great stress for several years (due to cyclones that have affected us all) and turn it into a national festival. The possibilities are ripe. We should celebrate this great berry.
  16. The weather might save us from 5-0. It took us 140 overs to get them out then. Thats more than 1.5 days. Struggle street i reckon but as they say, "tis a funny game".
  17. Any puppies in a storm.
  18. I would love to see a nice pair of bouncy puppies.
  19. It's a pity we're talking more about the DRS system than the cricket. Let's see if the Aussies can conjure up a loss from here. It wont be easy but I'm confident the boys can do it on form alone.
  20. He wont know if it's a Hare Krisnas or Sid Vicious. Who said anything about helping people? Organ harvesting is a business like anything else. Has your time selling slaves in the Burmese triangle taught you nothing?
  21. only what i call "Hummingbirds". Sure they look young ,but their organs never really sleep so they age quickly . I suggest we hang out at a christian motocross rally or some such similar event and just wait for the right moment. Either that or a "Mark Neeld lecture for inspiring confidence" and see if any healthy young kids have died of boredom.
  22. "every heart beats true for the red and the blue" is not actually a scientific fact DC. Get a valve from one those young guys that like riding motorbikes .
  23. They tried that with Cale but the doctors refused to operate because his chest was too small and they couldn't find his heart.
  24. Old Dee-you will have to stop posting in the car,and turn down the stereo. Glad to hear you are well.I think we discussed insurance on this forum once so i take it you have some. Daisycutter-a French philosopher once said"I would rather die young than compromise by eating Margarine". Hope you are running on all chambers/valves soon.
  25. Graham Wood was a master of quick running between the wickets though . Ask Laird ,McCosker ,Darling,Dyson,Wessells and all the other guys he ran out.
