I think you will see Bate playing 200 plus AFL games. He has been played at half forward in a team that cant kick properly .He looks more effective on ball.Deceptively effective player who gains us 60-70 metres and makes the right decisions with the ball .I admit he looks ugly when he tries to wheel back on his left foot .I wish he was played on the left side of the ground when at HFF .I hope he stays .

I have to agree with you Normy.Everyone has a bad year and since he won his Bluey he has had all the focus from other teams stoppers .Brent is a no-nonsense guy who has loved the club since he was a kid.We gain nothing by pouring sh!t on our servants .Neeld will get the most out of him and add strings to his bow .I think we may see a better Brent next year ,if he stays in Red and Blue.Misson is obviously working him pretty hard and his lack of pace can likely be attributed to the extra training for 2013.Form is temporary , class is pemanent .

I have been dying to get Jetta back for ages .he has good skills ,is pretty quick ,fierce at it and tackles ,can kick a goal .Also I think he can be the crumber at the base of the pack that we so badly need . I am generally cynical yes.Only through experience .

I joined 'land and didn't read the rules. Pretty soon I felt like I had been violated and shamed when I had a deletion for going a bit overboard on Morton or Bailey or some such champ. I glanced over to 'ology after feeling deep resentment at the deletions ,warnings and heavy handed personal messages from guys who had been moderating for a long time. When suspended for 3 months I looked and joined the ologists for a while but the numbers were so low it felt like reading a sh!teful blog. Sometimes when you go out with some mates you feel like going to an intimate,quiet bar and sometime you want a crowded ,insane jungle. FWIW (an acronym I learned here) I like the idea that there is a choice between a huge powerhouse like Demonland and a little nuthouse like ology . We need plurality in this life. The thing is-I love every one of you sick units whether you be an anal accountant from Vermont or a drug addled Aura-reader from Bangkok. But I still want the right to talk absolute sh!te to all of you and for you to understand that it is only talk.
