  1. Jesse, I'll cut fresh flowers, make the wine cold, sit by the phone, put on Cologne-buy you a pack of smokes, whatevs. Forwards that take grabs and kick straight are rare as rocking horse [censored].
  2. I'd like to discipline the umpires. There is a way to do it perfected by Franco during the Spanish Civil War. It involves a fair hearing followed by a swift decision and justice.
  3. Armpits gave us nothing.(Wilson ) Flintoff pretty good. Strawbs did well against their giants. Viney typically shocking by foot. Tony Campbell and Darren Bennet did a lot of falling over but also kicked goals. Earl the pearl at peak mullet. Lyon average. Danny Hughes beaten(a rarity). Sandy Roberts was a good caller. I would've been busy in the bedroom at the time.I was unstoppable in 1990.
  4. I acknowledge he's missed a few . Despite this, he is a beautiful set shot and a great mark for his size. He is not about to knock blokes over with his frame being what it is. He's also our leading scorer and his accuracy will improve with confidence. No way he will get dropped in the near future.
  5. His pressure on the scoreboard is about our best. Lest we forget how crap we were at that last month.
  6. Yeah right. We don't need any guys who just kick goals. We can win it with missed set shots and sprayed snaps.
  7. In reference to the AFL I agree entirely. In reference to the entire world economy, which has existed since evolution, there is no way to break it down and rebuild it into an equal or utopian system that won't be re-corrupted to favour some at the expense of others. But those that chase profit sacrifice other things in their life. Those that bemoan "the system" or "the government" really are too lazy to even go fishing off a pier.My response was directed at a comment I took as being a far more general societal complaint than just the way the AFL has become a commercial and media sewerage system.i have no problem with the discussion of ideas.Vague swipes at "the system "are not really ideas. They are complaints.
  8. If only we could eat and shelter with homilies and glib phrases. Come up with a better economic solution or spare me the eulogy .
  9. #Biffinsta for some cut price gold bars shipped directly to your door.( No ads is our lifetime guarantee).
  10. Guess who will do that-the same robots that spread the plague .
  11. I love puppies. Cooked in Hoisin sauce and sprinkled with chilli flakes ,squeeze of lemon and a glass of Sav Blanc.
  12. Just PM the ticker code of whoever gets the patented vaccine and I'll buy the AFL and run the sh!tshow myself.
  13. Wallace has a fair bit to say about Melbourne. I preferred it when he was on diet of soup and silence courtesy of Rodney Grinter.
  14. I'm struggling to find any post match stuff on KAYO. Dunstall trying to be funny is like watching Stephen Hawking attempt the Decathlon in the Olympics. Throw in the comedic timing of Andrew Gaze and it's like sitting through a major surgery without so much as an aspirin to kill the pain.
  15. The Nags are clean Mazer. Not like the old days. The Chariots have their "stings" now and then. Boxing is pretty clean at the higher level from what I can tell.
  16. I am great Picket but I'm not Royalty. Nor do I possess the supermodel looks of His Ballsness.
  17. It's like netball these days. I remember playing and this kid made a blind turn and ran straight into me. I turned him side ways and body slammed him into the turf. The ball bounced about 10 metres up in the air, the kid about 1 metre. I was awarded the free kick and the kid was carried off. I felt a slight feeling of remorse but small players are like cats( they always usually land on their feet). Plenty of times times players got crunched on my team and it was play on. Umpires these day have no control, the rules are jelly, and the game drifts away from them, complicated by the idiots at AFL house and the commentary "gods" such as Dwayne and Dermott. It's a contact sport and you can't reverse engineer or totally prevent injury .
  18. In the words of Mike Tyson ; "Everybody has a plan until they get pushed in the face". Nearly everybody.
  19. It was called "holding the man" in my day.
