  1. We'd have to throw in a future 1st I would presume. 2, 13 For 7, 8, gc f1 (10-16) Whether it's worth doing that I'm not sure. I have complete faith in JT to identify draftees and whether it's worth condensing our petracca capital for a specific target(s). I like how aggressive we are to target players in the draft (Lindsay a good example) but sometimes I do feel we short change ourselves in the future with our pick swaps that possibly hinders our trading flexibility in subsequent years. For instance, we could potentially find ourselves in the Butters (or Humphrey) race next year and holding onto two first rounders could place us ahead of many clubs to get a deal done.
  2. I think lamb just misspoke or was referring to it being past 7:30 so no further trades were being done today. Unless there's been an unannounced changed of rules you can trade picks right up to and on draft night.
  3. I can see us making a play to move up. Perhaps we can try and swap 7 and 8 for 2 and 13. Can only see them going for it if we offered something like GCs future 1st as well with perhaps their future 2nd coming back. Robey at 2 Dovaston at 13 Go in next year with our first, West Coast's 2nd, GWSs 3rd. That's assuming we rate Robey (or whichever draftee) significantly higher than those available at 7 and 8.

  6. What's the bet we try to trade up with Gold Coasts future 1st?
  7. I reckon both White and Sinnema will go through to the rookie draft. 37 perhaps for Pickett? I've lost track of how many list spots we have now +/- Woewodin as well

  10. Death (ride) to the expansion clubs!!!
  11. Happy with the signing but I don't understand why we always give away future picks in these deals. Not huge in the scheme of things but we are now down a future 3rd and 4th pick next year.
  12. Guessing we're going to have to wait until 1900-1930 for the Petracca and Oliver trades.
  13. Good bit of business by the blues.
  14. Dees chasing Humphrey before Cameron comes in to ruin everything.
  15. He's the quintessential project player. Massive athletic ability but footy is pretty raw and he's skinnier than Jeffo. If he makes it I wouldn't expect senior games from him for 4+ years.
  16. Appreciate all your updates mate. I've been here a while and you've always been someone with good info. Shame it's looking highly unlikely now. Hopefully we will continue to push for him in the future even if we do face greater competition from the other vic clubs.
  17. No apology necessary.
  18. Just my poor attempt at humour linked to the Humphrey thread running joke where he would have had up to 50 medicals.
  19. Was he doing a medical?
  20. I don't actually hate this. I'd happily give up a top 4 pick next year for a 21yr old Humphrey that's proven and had some development and ready to impact. Petracca for 7, 15 and future 2nd isn't horrendous either. Get an established best 22 player with star factor and bring in two first round picks this year.
  21. Agree 4th rounder, they can have a 5th.
  22. Probably. I still think we should be holding onto 24 and should even be squeezing out at least a future 2nd rounder from them if we're sending them Petracca and later picks their way to match their top 5 academy picks.
  23. 9, 16, (13&16ish) plus a player plus 2nd rounder We get 7, 8 (11 &12) no player and send them the most valuable second rounder there is.
  24. IMO Gold Coasts offer for Petracca is looking weaker with Hawthorn and Sydney's alleged offers for their respective trades. Can only add pressure on them hopefully.
