  1. Should be incorporated into our resilience training.
  2. Probably a bit premature with a couple practice games still to come but I'll have a crack. FB: Bowey May Petty HB: Salem Lever Windsor C: Langdon Viney Billings HF: Chandler Turner Sparrow FF: Fritsch JvR Petracca R: Gawn Oliver Rivers I: Howes Langford Johnson Sharp Sub: Laurie E: Jefferson AMW Woewodin Next in line: T-mac, Hore, Lindsay, Brown, Henderson, Campbell, Adams, Fullarton, Sestan, Verrall, Mentha Sus: Pickett Injured/underdone: Tholstrup, McVee, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo, Kentfield Hoping Windsor gets up with his foot infection, has otherwise done the bulk of pre-season and should be good to go when healed. Wanted to squeeze T-mac but couldn't find a spot for him. Pickett, McVee, Tholstrup come into the 22 when able, Lindsay debut on the cards later in the year after a delayed start to pre-season. Opted for Johnson over Jefferson largely to help ruck relieve and take the burden off JvR. Hoping Jefferson can crack the team early. Henderson may surprise and take that pressure half forward/small fwd role to aid i50 pressure/retention.
  3. I'm guessing he's still in WA and may not have formally put pen to paper just yet. I suspect we'll see an article in the coming days after he's come back to Melbourne and done the admin stuff at dees headquarters. Get him kitted out in a dees polo, 2min interview for socials etc...
  4. If kozzie does go, I wonder if Murphy Reid could be part of the equation. Didn't look too thrilled to be selected by freo on draft night. Smooth moving midfielder who was metros MVP.
  5. If you don't write a 10 page report with individual dossiers of players performance, highlights of the day, goodys gameplan and an up-to-date injury list... did you even really go to training?
  6. Time to target one of their stars
  7. This mystery F/S or academy player has me intrigued. First thought was perhaps Kynans younger brother Ryder might be getting a tour. Wouldn't have thought there would be need for secrecy though.
  8. If Kozzie were to go I would love either Hayden Young or Caleb Serong if at all possible. Failing that, perhaps Murphy Reid with picks could be an alternative. We're lucky we have him contracted until 2027 to give us leverage. Hopefully he just stays with us.
  9. Been away for a bit, is there training at Gosch’s tomorrow? I might have a look if there is.
  10. I always liked "Nope Ropes"
  11. I was given advice to write letters to my enemies and then burn them. Wasn't sure what to do with the letters after that though.
  12. https://central.rookieme.com/afl/power-rankings/aflw-draft-power-rankings-november-2024/ Power rankings for those that are interested. If Mithen goes we might have 2 x top 10 picks
  13. Petty back makes sense and gives us a healthier balance of key forwards and defenders. Forwards: JvR, Turner, Jefferson, Johnson, Kentfield, Fullarton Backs: May, Lever, Petty, McDonald, Adams Turner and Petty can swing forward or back as required as well while I noted that the recruiters mused that Johnson could probably play behind the ball as well. I suspect we will be on the hunt for a key defender at years end given the age of May and McDonald. Particularly if Adams doesn't come on. Perhaps we will look closely at Derkson again.
  14. Thanks GW. Not sure if we have 100% clarity on this yet but do you know if is he eligible for us as to have priority selection? These rules can be ambiguous at times, particularly with the recent Ah-mu ineligibility. Edit: beat me to it distraction jackson
  15. I believe we have two x SSP periods where we can sign players to replace those on the LTI. One finishes a bit before Christmas. The next runs between Jan and Feb. This is where clubs can sign their supplementary train-on players if list spots or LTI allow.
  16. Boys definitely need to up their nick-naming game. Would have gone with Professor for XL myself.
  17. I quite like Sarah Howleys game from the Falcons as well. Looks to have a good inside and outside game with speed and skills.
  18. Couple of references to the dees picking up Roy George. Is our list not full? Wouldn't have thought he would qualify as a cat-b rookie?
  19. Another prospect for us to keep an eye on for next year with Toby Sinnema seemingly tied to our club via the NGA. He is currently spending a week at the club alongside Kalani White. The Dandenong Stingrays product was listed as 179cm at the start of the 2024 season and managed an impressive 17 games as a bottom ager while only 16 years old. He was selected in the U17s futures game. #6 Toby Sinnema (Dandenong Stingrays) Wing | 179cm | 11/12/2007 Sinnema had some typically electric moments in the first half, providing a spark to Vic Country’s attacks. The wingman backed his pace and could be seen launching long kicks inside 50, even fancying his chances within 55 metres of goal. He managed to stick one of his attempts from long-range in the second quarter, thanks to an unselfish shepherd from Tairon Ah-Mu in the goalsquare. Scouting Notes: 2024 AFL U17s – Vic Country vs. NSW/ACT
  20. Interesting results. Would be nice if they included times as well. Suspect Langdon and Laurie wouldn't have been too far outside the top 5.
  21. Didn't realise he was in our NGA. Another player to keep an eye on for next year.
