THE 2024 AFL NATIONAL DRAFT - DAY ONE
Windsor, Tholstrup, Langford and Lindsay. All good users of the footy and competitive yet compliment each other well with their individual traits. Our future midfield is taking shape.

2024 Phantom Drafts
Dude, I'm making fun of Collingwood. You don't need to ruin it with facts

2024 Phantom Drafts
Kinda like pies trading away pick 2 in anticipation of an early Daicos bid. They could have had Callaghan as well as Daicos.

2024 Phantom Drafts
Berry would be a great pick imo. Speed, skill and toughness.

Assuming we keep 5 & 9, who are you picking?
And we won't be taking Lalor, still.. a man can dream.

2024 Phantom Drafts
- PRESEASON TRAINING: Wednesday 20th November 2024
Any observations of Jefferson, Turner and Laurie would be appreciated.- 2024 Phantom Drafts
Maybe, looks like a nervous kid to me. Mentioned melbourne a couple times and said he would fit in there well with his previous experience from pre-ssason. Curiously Koltyn Tholstrup has reached out to him I the last couple days. Not sure there's much to read into that.- The Alix 'Flying Viking' Tauru thread
Loki would be very happy about seeing him in red and blue.- 2024 Phantom Drafts
Reckon we get Langford at 5 and Tauru at 9. No idea what happens though if Richmond throws everything off with selecting Smith or O'Sullivan at 1.- 2024 Phantom Drafts
Richmond I'm not surprised about as they did a deal for Brisbane's first rounder during the trade period. They probably have an understanding, similar to us with Essendon re Kako, to not bid. At least I'd imagine there would be an informal understanding. As for the other clubs, stuffed if I know.- 2024 Phantom Drafts
I've seen Draper the least out of this years reported top 10 so my opinion is less informed. But reading up on his weakness it sounds like he's a poor user of the footy.- 2024 List and Contract Details
Cal Twomey posted a table on either twitter or instagram which had all the clubs nominations. Someone posted it in one of the threads. I don't have either app so can't help track down the original source sorry. Info is correct though.- 2024 Phantom Drafts
So likely two of Langford, Tauru, Allan, Lindsay with a pick out the back end.- 2024 Phantom Drafts
There's a realistic scenario where Allan is gone to the Tigers at 7 and Lindsay to the Saints (or GWS via trade).- Jason Taylor AFL Gettable 18.11.2024
Correct, by tall I meant your classic key position players- 2024 Phantom Drafts
Pretty comprehensive list there SONS. I like that we've been linked to Zane Cochrane, looked fantastic last year as a bottom ager and got going later in the year for oakleigh. Couple other names to look out for include Ben Kennedy, Patrick Said, Archie Caldow, Charlie Rozenes and Asher Eastham (could we go all gippy boys this draft?), I'm hoping Ough becomes a slider to our last selection but hard to see that happening.- Jason Taylor AFL Gettable 18.11.2024
It certainly is a fascinating draft. I wouldn't be surprised if we went tall with one of our picks but would be staggered if we went tall with two.- 2024 Phantom Drafts
Cal has pretty much said Lalor and O'Sullivan are locked in for the first two picks. We will get one of Langford, Smith or Tauru. Anything else would be a surprise.- Welcome to Demonland: Harvey Langford
- Adrian Dodoro Wins Trade Period Once Again
How do we get him back in charge of the Bombers recruiting?- 2024 Phantom Drafts
Draft picks: 5, 9, 79 (likely to use three selections) All of the Dees' work during the trade period was done in securing pick No.9 off the Bombers, giving Melbourne back-to-back years of two first-round selections. Clubs have gone to them with offers for pick No.9, but it's very hard to see them moving from their draft hand. After the early selections, the Demons will use one more national draft selection. They've shown some interest in Werribee mature-aged small forward Jack Henderson, who dominated this season averaging 22 disposals and booting 15.3, and the same for Oakeligh midfielder Zane Cochrane, Bendigo forward Archer Day-Wicks and speedy small Mitch Kirkwood-Scott. The Demons are also expected to grab NGA prospect Ricky Mentha jnr, most likely as a category B rookie consideration, while they can match a bid on intercept defender Riak Andrew, younger brother of Gold Coast's Mac. They will upgrade Judd McVee and Jake Melksham to the senior list. - PRESEASON TRAINING: Wednesday 20th November 2024
