Have to also mention Tapscott almost putting Maxwell through the back window of the interchange bench. We haven't had a player willing to do something like that since Grinter!

Part of the problem is also the amount that we fumble the ball, even when it is put down their throat. Or, today in particular, the first handball out was sharked by a Collingwood player who read the next move.

I think one of the best things to come out of today was the fact that at 2 or 3 times the floodgates really could have opened, and we could have ended up 80 points down, but we didn't.

Have to say, the point of the thread wasn't to discuss the actual t-shirts. I was interested in the positive bantering that was going on between Neeld and Moloney. I couldn't care less what they actually wear...

Did anybody else watch right to the end of the press conference last night, and see Neeld and Beamer bantering about Beamer's T-shirt designs? Thought that was really interesting, that Neeld would light up about how cr*p he thought Brent's stuff was (he owns an online retailer apparently) and Beamer responded with 'you need a bit of help on that front' or something similar. Rift? Rubbish.

Yeah I was a bit surprised about Morton too. Really thought he was going ok, and certainly not the worst.

Fair cop Jose - I'll take back the dummy spit. And Moonshadow - in all the teams I've played in over the years (albeit mainly basketball), the best ones were the ones where we had played together for 5 years. Reactions become completely instinctive. The teams where they switch you around every season are hopeless, it takes at least half the season for everybody to work out where the other guys are running to, and to stop all being in the same place at the same time. Think there's something in that and, although I'm sure this has been covered already too, I think that's the crucial missing ingredient in our team at the moment.

Thanks for the positive feedback... You're right Jose. Now that I think about it, I probably am the only person here who has ever posted on a topic that's been posted on before. Good pick up mate. I'm relatively new, and didn't read the 449 pages of previous topics before I posted. However, now that you've pointed out my error, I'll check them next time I think about writing something I think is interesting. You're right, typo on that one. Sorry, I think it is 7 (but haven't looked again, so could be wrong again!)
