Barrett is a tool. His grasp of the English language is limited and his intellect is worse. He just likes the sound of his own voice.

Given his father’s public criticism of the club and the fact that he is out of contract, will Joel Smith be leaving us? I thought that he looked likely at times, up forward.

Lever is recovering from multiple injuries. He won’t go in hard until he feels confident to do so, next year. Why risk it in a nothing year. He knows that. He is a pro!

Immaterial. I think that we will end up with Pick 3 anyway, as we will win our last 2 games. Lol

Goodwin out. Youngsters into the 22. Viney’s Vacuum or whatever he called it, would be an improvement on anything Goodwin is capable of thinking up. Just think the bloke (Goodwin, that is) might be found wanting on an IQ test!

Goodwin would sign Bennell if he thought it would improve on field output because that may save his coaching position.

Goodwin will be gone soon unless we invest in a quality Assistant Coach to help him and give him some quality draft picks to lift our team and supporters. We need a young forward line like Brisbane have that are talented and ruthless.

I love Goodwin the player. I am not sold on him as a coach! I will leave it at that.

Viney is my favourite player but he is everything that is wrong with the City of Melbourne when it comes to promotion. He is Captain without having really earnt it. Nepotism is rife in Melbourne due to people being scared of what they don’t know and understand.

I am thinking of sending Goodwin my own version of An Idiot’s Guide To Coaching.

It might work. I think workrate has been the biggest problem. Our players often jog around the oval. Our opposition often seem to move quicker and with greater purpose.

Think that we have got some real problems with the game plan, the coach and the list. We really need to play more play on football and back ourselves to transition to the forward 50 quickly. Think less, score more. We are talking ourselves out of it when we go forward!

I think Jones could play for another year or two, maybe half forward flank. He is invested in the club and that is important for the other players to see! He is probably too slow to be played in the midfield or the back line now.

I think that Goodwin likes Maynard because of his toughness.

Clarry is Red and Blue forever. I think that I will give up watching AFL if he leaves Melbourne.

Give more AFL paid coaching experience to help Dew but giving picks is futile. Gold Coast need to build a culture and identity to become successful. It is what we are having to re-establish right now ourselves.

The way the Doggies played. That is a team with spirit and s culture. Why can’t Melbourne play like that?

Just like Byron Pickett and Phil Read brought. We play so much better when we have a fight in a game. Last week was the first one I can remember this year and we beat Fremantle. Last year we were physical most weeks. We need to play like the Baby Bombers used to. We need to bully and bash as well as run teams off their feet.

May could be the next Mitch Clark, without the depression and injuries.

I think that we should keep Weideman. Try May forward. At least he has the big ego of a power forward. We need Weid and one other big target to have a West Coast style forward line.

I actually think that our supporter base is part of the problem. We don’t make the club accountable enough! It is time that we dropped the MCC behaviour and became a bit feral. It is just the catalyst for change that is needed!
