Dees Potential Draft Play to Secure Pick #1
I like him, can play either end, hits the contest hard and brings it to ground if he doesn’t win it

POSTGAME: Rd 11 vs Walyalup
Let me put it this way 2021 - Premiers 2022 - finished 2nd banged up (much to do with poor injury management) and bowed out but certainly put ourselves in contention 2023 - season a long way to go Grundy - not her before this season Salem barely fit since 2021 Lever openly mentioned he played under duress at the back end of last season Pickett - please what has he actually done over an extended period beyond show potential You said it yourself we have a list to match it with the best, that’s right match it but not dominate as others suggest. The list is good enough to have us in contention for an decent period. The group you mention as a whole is no better than Daicos x 2, Pendles, Sidebottom, De Goey, Elliott, Crisp and Moore Bont, Libby, Jones, McRae, English, Smith, Richards Neale, Andrews, Rayner, Cameron, Gunston, Mcluggage, Dunkley Boak, Wines,Aliir, Butters, Rozee, Duursma, JHF, Jackson, Darcy, Serong, Brayshaw, Young, Ryan, Fyfe, Walters, Pearce Cox I could go on about the Cats and Swans we have a top end list who all things being equal will have us around the mark with a good run, but all of those groups listed above have deficiencies on particular lines and all know how to beat each other. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn’t fall your way. The measure is when you need to change things up to negate what’s coming your way and we shall see what pans out

Knee Jerk Posters
And then there’s the category that you and your ilk fit into, who said we got lucky in 2018 on the back of a good run and we’re calling for Goodwin throughout 2019 and 2020. The same group who failed to acknowledge the improvement defensively and in team first approach through the back end of 2020. The negativity and meltdowns continued through 2021 when we drew with Hawthorn, lost to GWS and failed to tag Daniel when we lost to the Dogs in our second meeting in 2021. You and your ilk conveniently like to forget your stance through that period

Knee Jerk Posters
My post whilst in response to yours wasn’t directed towards you layzie, it was directed towards the regular game day posters who just can’t wait to vent and turn on our players in an instant

Knee Jerk Posters
Really, don’t say things you don’t 100% mean then or are they children. Some of them must look at their game day threads and be embarrassed in hindsight. Just because others are more controlled and don’t go into meltdown doesn’t mean they dont care are less invested or settle for mediocrity they have probably just learned from years of watching that there are peaks and troughs in games and seasons. None of our players go out there and don’t try or don’t care no matter what posters think. Some are down on form, confidence and have brain fades but the comments from posters towards our players and football department are pathetic

POSTGAME: Rd 11 vs Walyalup
Forget logic, as others have said the list is not as great as people think. It’s a good list but not at the level some think. We’re not firing currently there are concerns but there are signs of potential and good passages of play. Just need more consistency and a few to step up with greater output and not just show glimpses. Things are never as good as they seem - we won a flag with a consistent year and everyone playing their role It wasn’t because we were loaded with a generational list that was about to start a dynasty despite our 10-0 start last season. and things are never as bad as they seem- the season isn’t over a review of season 2018 & 2021 had periods just like this and we finished them strong heading into September. Flags are really difficult to win, a lot has to go right and there is an element of luck involved. The group needs to reset get back to basics team first and not to panic. No time to start listening to outside noise and rumour just do your job

Dees Potential Draft Play to Secure Pick #1
My preference too, always load up the depth, because with JT and the crop out there they won’t be duds. There’s always so called once in a generation players. 2025 draft already being talked about as a very talented bunch. U/16 championships on the Gold Coast this year will attract a lot of attention and recruiters

David King First Crack
Our season took a turn downward last season in Rd 11, with what was considered a surprise loss. Will the opposite occur this season in Rd 11, same venue and the same opposition. I don’t mind where we currently stand, we will learn a lot about some of our players in the next few weeks.

2023 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
Depends on whether West Coast trade down for 2 picks inside the top 10, which I think they will do if they get pick 1. Im hearing some clubs don’t have him in the top 5
