Welcome to Demonland: Caleb Windsor
Not this close to the draft, Twomey is usually pretty accurate with his top 10
-
Welcome to Demonland Koltyn Tholstrup
As per Stiff Arms reply 8hrs

Phantom Drafts 2023
My thoughts exactly re Petty

Welcome to Demonland Koltyn Tholstrup
You need to go via Perth to get to Esperance

Phantom Drafts 2023
My thoughts are we’d have to get their F2 back. For this deal to happen you’d imagine Hawks have decided on Curtin over Watson and it will happen on the night if North take Duursma after Mckercher

Welcome to Demonland Koltyn Tholstrup
It says he flew to Perth, before catching a light plane to Esperance

Phantom Drafts 2023
I don’t need to watch Tomlinson, I know plenty about Curtin, spent a lot of time working with him so I’ll back that.

Harley Reid
Nigel Satyerley and property development will be their retention strategy as it was for Judd and Simpson

Phantom Drafts 2023
Raw as a forward played there before the national championship this year in tandem with SVR. Could play there but not something he’s familiar with prior to this year
-
Daniel Curtin
Standard is okay, but salary cap kills it a little much bigger dollars in country footy Tim Kelly probably the last mature recruit to really make an impact. Jack Buller taken in this year’s mid season draft played 1 game with Sydney before getting injured
-
Daniel Curtin
They will probably have Elijah Scoble Kaleb Dempster-Park and Jake Watson from their Colts side also coming into contention for the senior side

Welcome to Demonland Koltyn Tholstrup
There’s already Levi Ashcroft and one the Camporeale boys who will compromise the top end of next years draft

Phantom Drafts 2023
Not quite sure what you’re talking about with regard to Tholstrup making Curtin look second rate. I was at this game and Subi in general made Claremont look second rate during this game and it was only accurate kicking by Claremont in the 3rd which let them stay close. They were smashed in the middle by the Hickmott boys and took the ball forward at will. Curtin played on Luker Kentfield that day and Tholstrup played mostly as a forward with occasional time on the ball. I rate them both but they were hardly matched up against each other during this game. There’s a big difference between being involved in a contest and having to move off a player to close down a free hit up opponent

Daniel Curtin
They’ve recruited quite well this off season DD, my best mate is a long suffering Perth fan always spend a few games during the season with him sharing a few frothies in the Pig Pen

Welcome to Demonland Koltyn Tholstrup
Not sure Tapscott came in off a full season at senior level
-
Daniel Curtin
The kick to the 2v 1 20 sec in is also too Van Rooyen. For those watching the highlights when he’s wearing #7 he’s playing Colts when wearing #16 he’s playing seniors

Welcome to Demonland Koltyn Tholstrup
First time I saw him play development level absolutely loved him, not for the skill level just the brutality he attacked every contest with and the way he looked like he wanted to hurt the opponent. Very much ball or body in every contest

Welcome to Demonland Koltyn Tholstrup
He was a dominant goal kicker through development, futures and colts. Hardness, strength and intensity plus being a country boy had him well ahead of others around the same age. There’s no issue with Tholstrup not chasing or providing pressure at ground level

Welcome to Demonland Koltyn Tholstrup
Zurhaar probably the best comparison

Phantom Drafts 2023
Adelaide have watched him a few times in the second half of the season, maybe we’re trying to force their hand with pick 10, to leave either Leake, Wilson or Windsor

Max Promises Tough Love this Preseason
Don’t agree that 2022 and 2023 can be seen in the same light. Whilst I get the straight sets outcomes in both seasons I think our 2022 form after Rd 11 is vastly different to our 2023 form from Rd 11 was different. We were banged up in 2022 and didn’t rest the players, 2023 injuries to Melk and Petty were just poor luck. Think both those ins give a different dimension to our forward set up

2023 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
Need to be careful listening to parents of players in same team and without throwing a blanket over all of them. My boy is good mates with Aidan O’Driscoll and parents I speak with are wondering why he’s draftable, they think their kids are just as good. They couldn’t be further from the truth some kids are so clean at ground level, move so smoothly and just make things look so easy the void to Jo citizen is hard to pick up

2023 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
Zakostelsky now rated top 25, he’s attracting a fair amount of interest

The Pick 1 Thread
They aren’t great, probably the poorest they have been in years. WAFC concerned with the development and hired full time 18s coach, whilst also changing their training process. Bo Allan (Peel) and Malakai Champion(Subi) the only 2 who made the AIS squad. This time last year though Zakostelsky was unheard of so I expect a few will climb and announce themselves through the season Champion, Allan, Austin Van Der Struyf, Hamish Davis, Blake Kelly and Cody Angove (my bolter tip) the ones likely to be drafted
