  1. If you check history it’s less than 10% chance you make finals from 0.3 start and you don’t need to be Einstein to work out at 0-4 it’s even less chance. So in a nutshell their season is on the line As for the South Australian footy media vs the Queensland media I think that’s self explanatory
  2. Danger game given they will come out firing at 0-3, copping it in the media and playing at home in prime time. However we showed great resilience, discipline and character last week. Ride the storm early and maintain our defensive set up and we should prevail in another tough one
  3. I’m saying Beetle is generally a poster who is accurate and if he is posting this I believe he has been told this by a club source
  4. 6. Nibbler 5. Gawn 4.Viney 3. Brown 2.Trac 1. Langdon
  5. Beetle is pretty good with his mail on club matters
  6. Because the side last year was elite even without the academy players. The Tassie boys last year were exceptional with two A graders for that level. Jed Walter’s is not the sort of player who comes along often that’s why I said it
  7. Can’t see the Allies being as good as last year
  8. Probably not a direct run withtag, but could go with team match up whereby, Sparrow runs with him around the ground in general play and responsibility goes to possibly Viney at the CBDs and around the ground stoppages.
  9. Carlton would argue Weitering, Marchbank and Docherty is a massive hit to their defensive set up It’s a blow yes, but I’m very much about don’t worry about who you haven’t got worry about who you have got. Just get through it as best we can and get May back when he’s ready
  10. And yet we had a Dees supporter call SEN during the week with some conspiracy theory regarding Nibbler always being one of the first players to congratulate a teammate after the teammate had kicked a goal. The caller believed it to be orchestrated by Nibbler to just get in the highlight reels. Absolutely ridiculous call, the caller even scoffed at Garry’s response in asking him do you not just watch the way he plays his footy and think that’s just the way he is a real team player
  11. That’s terrible news for him
  12. 6. Gawn 5. Petracca 4. Oliver 3. May 2. Billings 1. Viney
  13. Only changes for mine and they are pending medical/strength and conditioning staff are Brown -6 day break and how he pulls up Woey - do they want to get a full game into him if ticked off no change
  14. So drop a mid for a key tall, we would be far to top heavy with those changes
  15. Missed the game with commitments, although I was getting fed score updates after half time, so knew the score when watching the replay. Liked the quicker ball movement off defensive rebound and more corridor focus allowing for better F50 entries. Highlight of the entire game/after game for me was Oliver’s smile when running off to the ovation and how open and happy he seemed in the interview. Forget the result it was great to see him looking like he was enjoying his footy again and hopefully happy off field. 1 win, 1 loss and it will take a few more games for us and others to find real form and we realise where teams are at. Onto next week
  16. That would require positivity and not finding a reason in every post to have a shot at selection because in this posters mind Goody does selection alone
  17. As I thought you have NFI, just another shot at the coach Longmire got rid of his plodders? Name them ? The 3 missing through injury LOL Footy isn’t really something you understand
  18. Name them , who he got rid of since 2023
  19. Any midfield that has Bont in it is dangerous and Sanders is very good he will be one to watch
  20. And can you believe we lost to Sydney last week when they had their own 3 best midfielders out Adams 0 games for Sydney Mills who rarely played through the middle unless needed to run with someone played more off half back Parker was a very very good midfielder but Warner and Guiden have been there 2 best mids since early 22 But Kane Cornes was pushing the best mids out agenda and many bought it. If you watch footy and Sydney’s evolution you would realise how deep their midfield went They made the pies look second rate tonight
  21. Hope he goes well, was once one of ours and left on good terms. Therefore I only wish him goodwill. There are some classless posters on here and a few who are clearly trolling
  22. Yes and study
  23. Theo is actually from Perth and moved to Adelaide for work opportunities
  24. Exactly same media who reported Crows looking to lure Sparrow Less than 90 mins later - Sparrow extends contract at MFC
  25. Brisbane did it against us last season at the G and it was effective for most of the game. It was late in the 4th when they tried to ice the game and slowed their ball movement that we got back into the contest
