Time to go easy on Fritsch
No it’s not, he hasn’t brought intensity or 1%ers for the last 2 years. It’s harsh but a fact
-
PREGAME: Rd 08 vs West Coast
He was in hot form at the time, however he got a good look at it as they absolutely smashed us at the CBDs and stoppages

VOTES: Rd 07 vs Richmond

CASEY: Rd 05 vs Richmond
He won’t die wondering, has natural hardness and the right intensity and attitude which some other more talented players lack

CASEY: Rd 05 vs Richmond
Coached Luker in development squads and played him at CHB a fair bit. Reads it well and always attacked the contest with intensity. When he played at CHF or FF always hit contests hard and really good with follow up efforts. Concerning about Jeffo as intensity is a difficult trait to ingrain within a player long term if it’s not in their DNA

PREGAME: Rd 07 vs Richmond
If Fritsch kicks a few great, however I want to see him tackle, shepherd, lead and chase with intensity and follow up efforts. No token throwing out 1 arm. Ball or body at any contested situation he is presented with tomorrow night

POSTGAME: Rd 06 vs Fremantle
Good win, but it’s only 1. Coaching group deserves credit for game plan and execution today. Pressure rating up, 1%ers and a team effort across the board Let’s bring it again Thursday because Richmond will bring effort and intensity

Time to go Goody?
Kentfield won’t as he’s missed to much pre season with glandular fever. Mentha has just arrived, but Adam’s is close. It doesn’t make them dead wood
-
Time to go Goody?
Why are Mentha, Adam’s, and Kentfield dead wood. A next gen player and 2 19/20 year old key position players
-
Time to go Goody?
No they can’t within reason we are an MCG tenant and therefore entitled to play the majority of our games at the MCG To think they can make us play the majority of our home games at Docklands is untrue

PREGAME: Rd 06 vs Fremantle
It wouldn’t be his only entry in the hot takes, in similar fashion to Jeremy Howe regularly featuring in mark of the week. Every week he provides comedy gold

PREGAME: Rd 06 vs Fremantle
JVR is a very good defender and if Jeffo gets better with more exposure I have no issue with the change being made for both a confidence boost and with a view as long term KPD moving forward

Back to the dark days?
Dark Times , FFS 4 years ago we had a pandemic, get a grip. One of the worst things I have ever said but it’s like another World War may wake some people up to reality and what dark times and struggles really are. Footy clubs have ups and downs

Pies were into Lever and the Hawks who were still bottoming out had a real crack at May who they thought they may (pardon the pun) get

Christian Petracca and Clayton Oliver in 2026
I wouldn’t give 2, his body has taken a lot of punishment which it’s not exactly built for. He’s a gun but not sure about 2 picks
-
The Oscar Allan Thread
That’s actually carp, yeah May ended up at the Hawks and Lever ended up at Collingwood like the media stories said they were. We were never giving up pick 5 for Houston either We have little cap room and have been in the news official and unofficial for around 18 months so we’re not a destination club for a few reasons. Forget the self pity and conspiracy theories

TRAINING: Wednesday 2nd April 2025
You don’t have to be fast you have to be prepared to gut run, our mids aren’t prepared to run hard defensively. There’s also footy shows have had a field day with the vision and it will be getting shown in review

Makes it even easier mark it can’t get tackled from behind so either wheel and go or push back and hit the next option
