He was actually very interested in us until his management was told by us and Port. They would not be letting him go unless the offer was to good to refuse and we wouldn’t be meeting Ports asking price of two first rounders. When there is little likelihood of a trade being done, players change their tune
  2. And I consider as Team first was our mantra Harmesy should not have been the only one offering to be selfless. May stepping forward would have been ticked off
  3. However May had a hamstring tear so could and should have come off the ground once we were well in front
  4. He’s going to be a bolter in this draft, we interviewed him on Thursday I believe
  5. I would imagine £3-400k per week has something to do with it and Manchester like Newcastle and Liverpool are not as bad to live in when you have money and aren’t living in council estates
  6. Trac?
  7. Yes he’s an absolute gun and I love watching him play, very special talent. Be nice to have him but alas we don’t
  8. He is one who absolutely needs to be hit between the eyes during his exit interview. So many clips of efforts which are substandard and very much part of getting hurt on rebounds
  9. Good and fairly accurate post not a lot of change needed in terms of throwing everything out, however the right changes are vital off field and a few experienced players need to be hit right between the eyes during exit interviews
  10. If we lose tonight it’s because Jeffo’s wasn’t selected and if he was it would be a dead rubber because we’d have top spot sewn up. It’s been the missing ingredient all year. In fact had we debuted him last season we’d probably be chasing 3 in 4 years But what would the FD know
  11. Just let it go FFS he’s not playing till next year
  12. I think Freo 2015 weren’t much better, they limped home after a great start to the season similar to our 2022. With Lyon’s defensive style they weren’t prone to being belted by 100points
  13. No offence Jaded but I didn’t realise you were that young. When I left high school Viney and Grinter were my favourite players and the great Robbie Flower had just retired after playing his final game against Hawthorn in the famous preliminary final
  14. Still waiting on the response. Don’t hold your breath
  15. Massive upside Tim Lamb get in contact with him and make him feel good, stroke the ego and show the love
  16. Yes, which is why I mentioned at the right price. Keep the first pick for a young mid and get a couple of solid seasons out of Parker. A few older bigger bodies Viney, Oliver and Parker rotating through the middle along with some of the younger brigade is good going forward IMO
  17. Coached Aquinas College to winning the PSA this season, dealt with the tragedy of losing one of their players in a tragic car accident. Loved him as a player, ultra professional who got the best out of himself
  18. Wouldn’t mind him at the right price, tough around the contest, can play the mid fwd rotation and impact the scoreboard
  19. Thanks for your efforts, came to the club when we were rock bottom and no matter what is said played a role in our rise and ultimate success. Best of luck in your future endeavours

Max Holmes and their first pick
  21. A very special player and If he has the desire to get seriously fit, he will be a massive bonus in 2025. Hope he gets healthy and happy within himself again. Ball is in your court Clarrie, but most importantly look after you
  22. He actually said that I listened to the segment. As others of said part of the media barrage were copping currently. Cornes actually ran with this yesterday as part of our implosion saying Viney was looking around. He actually knew when he made this statement it was false. When Cornes brought it up this morning it was he who pushed Viney, Clark was more discussing the kind of experienced player he was looking for. He was like this earlier in the season with Bevin and he will not let up
  23. Yes playing as the #1 ruck has increased the player rating but after Rd 10 he has been fairly ordinary and actually providing very little around the ground. I see why we traded for him but also agree once the decision was made that it didn’t work it was right to clear space and move Grundy on
  24. Kane picks low hanging fruit and currently that is us. Earlier in the year it was Bevo and North. In March it was the Hawks tanking because they offloaded O’Meara and Mitchell On Tuesday he said we were along with Richmond a club who he saw no real upside for the next four to five years Yesterday he was saying how many good players under 22 we had and that a few good decisions could turn everything around quickly Kane on a daily basis opens his mouth without thinking or without giving any consideration to his previous comments
