  1. Great result for us WA members. It’ll be 49 Celsius and I’ll be drinking $16 mid-strength beers from plastic cups.
  2. Post only a week old and ageing pretty well so far mate. ?
  3. Is it just me or does the mobile platform of the training gallery photos fail miserably for others trying view them? Desktop seems the only way to fully appreciate them.
  4. How did the virus impact your ability to identify draftees?
  5. Is his nickname still Choco and is that in anyway referencing his complexion? Just a straight answer here please. I don't want to derail the bloody thread..
  6. Maybe you can start by enlightening us all of what he 'doesn't' bring.
  7. No doubt his CV would look impressive and his varying highs and lows would stand him in good stead for where the Bombers are at. But, he was overlooked by Jackson and then had Pert split his responsibilities with Richo after a couple if poor seasons. You can look at it a myriad of ways - good or bad - but in my opinion we are needing some fresh FD people. I don't expect the club to hand it all over to Richardson now. I expect them to go out find a bloody good operator who's worked in the 'window' we're currently in!
  8. I’d be more open to rotating him thru the guts if we’re looking to improve our connection from clearance/stoppage. He said in his draft year that he models his game on Luke Hodge - he certainly doesn’t have the brutality of Hodge but around the ball and making smart decisions and delivering efficiently is a lot of potential imv. Should look to work a rotation with Gus.
  9. And [censored] it, I’m gonna have one more beer.
  10. There’s business available for every level of intellect. Just gotta make it your own.
  11. And there’ll always be next year.
  12. I can see the Pies asking harder questions about Weideman now that we have Brown. Not Trac.
  13. We all know that it means more competition for you Sam but you’ve got enough development in you so it’s time to become the forward we all want you to be!
  14. The length of the extension. I can appreciate all the new variables players, managers and clubs are dealing with but 1 year is an outlier imo.
  15. 1 year? Great to have an extension but I’m a bit underwhelmed.
  16. Great work by the media department. Next time they should freeze frame a shot of Mahoney ripping out a huge fart. Or maybe they just did.....
  17. Last team to touch the ball before it goes out of bounds - turnover! It’ll stop congestion and you won’t need to reduce interchange cap because everyone will be kept moving. And it will eliminate any discretion or adjudication on the deliberate out of bounds fiasco. You’re welcome.
  18. It’ll keep the pressure on Weideman and hopefully see him really kick on and develop.
  19. True but I think members and supporters are getting smarter and looking through the bull dust nowadays.
  20. But gee whiz it would have to be a total game changer to recover from this farce of trade period... I can’t see any immediate recovery imv.
  21. Ned Guy. Lolz. Not much clue. EAD Collingwood.
  22. Essendon will be a rabble for years to come and the Blues had to cough up pick 8 which is probably overs but they have an immediate need for a seasoned player in that position. I don’t see this as unreasonable no matter where Saads pick value has previously been.
  23. Hoping my biltong will be dried enough in the morning. This unusually cool November weather in Perf sucks.
  24. ? many depending on your situation. ??
