On paper, our coaching box is pissypoor in comparison to most other teams (apart from Norf). About time we got some glam in there that the players can be inspired by. It will also be good is they can coach well.

I watched an under 15's game a few years ago and one team had bloody line coaches. Listened to the coach addresses at each break and walked away in disbelief how they expected 14 year old kids to understand the rubbish they we talking. Just another example of how the AFL is infiltrating and in my opinion negatively influencing junior footy.

He needs to toss out whatever Stafford tried to teach him and do his own thing moving forward. Such a pure striker of the ball but this year his overall accuracy went down the toilet. Great news to have him for another two.

No AFL traits since day 1 but managed a rising star nomination and has 81 games from 6 seasons so far. I don’t think he’s much chop either but geez you talk some [censored].

We’ve had the benefit of 12 months of learning from him. If he goes he goes but surely we’re not dumb enough to completely turf out his programs and methods altogether. There’s no doubt the group was in better condition from 1 year with Burgess than all those years spent with Misson.

He’s fringe at best which was reflected at the selection table this season. I’d be happy to move him on as I’ve never really seen anything of real value from him. If his worth can bring about something as speculative as he has been them let’s roll the dice.

Hmmm.... It’s hard to gauge whether hub life was a good thing or a bad thing for Bennell given his history. The little alcohol demons had sat in waiting in the amygdala of his brain and have been released to wreak havoc. I can speak from a position of knowledge here guys because I’ve experienced similar after extended periods of abstinence. It’s such a fine line to tip toe along dealing with alcohol misuse disorder. I really feel for him and his missus.

He plays his role and is a very good footballer. Do you not think he’d slot in the a Richmond or Geelong team?? He’s not the problem is what I’m trying to say. I consider him vital to our hopes moving forward because he is ‘unique’.

To see Jack in any other colours other than red and blue would be very hard to stomach - particularly Geelong. To those who think he’s too much of what we already have and stifles our game well, I‘d really like to see a plausible analysis of your thinking.
