The coat hanger is clearly not the only thing warped. -

Probably based it on the Geelong scalp at Kardinia park last year, chook. No Hogan then. -
MATCH PREVIEW AND TEAM SELECTION - Round 20

I have this feeling that if Hogan doesn't get up and misses this game, we will win. -
Being a professional footballer and wanting to play at the highest level possible I would think that'd be a no-brainer.
-
So are you saying that Trengove would not be best 22 at Brisneyland?
-
He'll be picked up by another club before that happens. I'd rather a season full of games at Brisbane before being rookie'd if that was on offer.
-
I agree with that last paragraph but it's not in the same vein as circa 2008.
-
I know this probably isn't the attitude we're trying to promote, but I couldn't give less of a feck about changes this week. The selection all year has been vague and confusing and without a doubt led to some of our defeats when it shouldn't have. I've already ready pulled my fishing rods out and started servicing some reels.

I reckon that particular filter must have a well tuned sarcasmometer. But truthfully, how awesome is it to see JW absolutely and without question dictate the outcome of a game... Some of Demonlands 'self-proclaimed' better posters must feel rather silly right now.

Just make Jack Watts Captain now. Just fucken do it already. Shoulda been Skipper on the day we drafted him.
-
Stretch and Watts were the only composed footballers in the team today. I lost count of how many times I lost my [censored] today. Just a horrible, horrible game of football to witness.

There's blood in the water.... Sharks are circling..... I can smell a coach sacking coming....
-
Whatever.

Seriously, Pal. Why do you continue to bother reading and posting here when all you do is rubbish everyone's contributions and the collective group think which coincidently, is usually different to yours? It must make you so frustrated.

Schofield is NQR with injury and they've replaced him with McKenzie who is having a woeful year. Their defence on paper is nothing flash. Neither is ours.
-
Just like when a lot of us tipped a win against the Saints at Etihad.

Bugg and BenKen emergencies. It wasn't really training, mono. He practiced goal kicking and marked most balls but still I got the feeling he just doesn't present as a confident player.

Don't know if it's been mentioned before but BenKen and Bugg are the traveling emergencies. Newton nowhere to be seen today. -
FA to report on here. Boys having a kick and giggle. I honestly reckon I can kick a better torp than half the team.

MATCH PREVIEW AND TEAM SELECTION - Round 18

All the media this week about his last year has set the scene, hasn't it? -
Going now mate. Eagles members seating. "Let's get ready to ruuuuummmmmmble!'
-
I wasn't going due to the disgraceful seating on offer to MFC interstate members. Now I've been offered two WCE members seats in a prime location that will cost me a carton of froffies and which I've accepted. So, if we beat West Coast this weekend, I will probably get ejected from the stadium 5 minutes before full time for 'causing a scene'.

You can only pay on current market value imo. Not on what he's done or has the potential to do. It's a classic risk vs reward scenario with a player like Prestia. Dodgy knee, missed chunks of consecutive seasons, has looked okay when playing but hardly a game-breaking player that wouldn't give any cause to handing over our 2017 first rounder and a player. His age is the most influential factor in all of this and the fact that his ability to overcome injury is still most likely positive. I still think both clubs have factored in his pending departure in last years trade period with the shuffling of picks. I wouldn't be surprised if our 2017 first rounder comes into play for a KPD.
