Interstate members get 1 game per season to attend (outside of Vic) and this is the seating you get offered - Melbourne vs West Coast And to take the missus along as a non-member you get slugged $67.50 to sit up the very back and have the setting sun make the game almost unwatchable. Ripped off.

    It was considerably less publicised compared to Brayshaws symptoms and diagnosis. That said, I'm sure the club wouldn't use a 'phantom' injury to mask anything genuine.

    It must be getting very frustrating for him but it's a by-product of how the team's evolving and the game plan they're implementing. Wouldn't be surprised if he looks elsewhere come years end.

    I do like Wagner's poise. The way he finds the time to spot the best option and usually hit them up is particularly different to what JG can do. Left-footers have that attraction.

    I also agree but where to fit him in is the problem. The two that immediately come to mind is Wags and Hunt but they've hardly done anything wrong. Maybe a rest would be possible but with the bye just around the corner it would hardly be warranted.

    Goss is okay and actually has some MFC contacts - that I know as fact. I hope he's had some solid mail on this occasion.

    Jones charged with wrestling once again. He's forking over some cash so far this year... Does anyone know if subsequent wrestling charges can ever result in suspension, not just a financial penalty?

    By his own admission, he was pretty rusty and the speed of the game took some adjusting to. He'll get the Pies game and maybe another after that to find a groove. It was hardly ideal conditions for the best of footballers to show their abilities but for the poster above to compare him to Sylvia is completely ridiculous.

    The amount of times Hawks players tried to fend off or break a tackle and not get pinged for it was incredible.

    Puopolo is the type of player that Melbourne lets off the chain and kicks a bag of goals. Agree that Jetta will spend some time on him but who knows whether this 'Diamond Defence' will be persisted with against the Hawks if they start scoring heavily out the back. Their smaller forwards could have an absolute field day if we don't win the majority of clearances.

    I don't know actually. You said you understand the development angle. Why you're so hell bent on using the analogy of a GF to compare against the status quo is fallacious. My argument is that there is more to gain out of playing Omac now. You disagree. That's fine.
