Breaking: AFL Player dies in Vegas
red and blue forever replied to stiza_007's topic in Melbourne Demons
Confirmed on port adelaides and afl's website. http://www.portadelaidefc.com.au/news/newsarticle/tabid/6038/newsid/147336/default.aspx Player John McCarthy has passed away. R.I.P. -
The Bugler is cool. I Wanna buy his mix-tapes. I want it as my ringtone when we win matches he should join the boys in the room and play while they sing the song. He should play at the grand final this year (no-one on here can argue that he would be worse than what the loaf put up last year) He rocks the kazbah

Aaron Davey reconsidering his position at Melbourne
red and blue forever replied to Brayshaw Self's topic in Melbourne Demons
I think flash is suffering from the old, "the mind is willing but the body is weak" he may want to play but phisically it may be past him that said, I have great respecy for Aaron, he has been a great player for our club, if he wants another year, and can convince Neeld he is capable then he should go for it. if not, then I wish him all the best with whatever endevours he chooses to persue in the future. -
The goal you most went nuts over
red and blue forever replied to deanbarber's topic in Melbourne Demons
2008 melb frem game where we came back from 50odd points down at half time, when we hit the front thanks to woneaemirri's goal in the dying minutes. never been so proud, was at the g that day, and the small crowd sounded like there were 100,000+ in the ground. (feel sorry for ther poor father and his son sitting in front of me who left at half time. he must have kicked himself) [media=] video is worth watching from about 44 minutes in. -
after all the support we gave him through such difficult times... was one of my fav players. (removing him from that list on this site after i post this) if he plays for port I hope the first port/melb game is at the mcg, the vehmency we directed at $cully will be nothing compared to what jurrah will have to face.

Players have one bad year sometimes, it happens to the best of them, he has been a great player for us and I think he deserves another chance. I know our list is struggling at the moment, but I also see lots of people bemoaning how we have all these small bodied players on our list, and they are mostly young and inexperienced, axing one of our mature, and big bodied players is not the answer.

and the dogs with a profit of 9mil in 2010? odd i would have thought
-
how old is that list? no gws, gcfc on it. although it is interesting, bronco's are the only nrl team in the top 17 just ahead of the saints and north. I knew afl was the dominant game, but not by that much edit, oh 2010,2011, i should look more carefully.

well, only one more week of pain to go, then some excitement with the trade and draft... Thanks Greeny, your a champion!
