  1. Stretch thats your goal mate. So indecisive under pressure and not clean enough
  2. Max wtf is that kick ....to the advantage of the only player who couod possibly get it....a Tiger!
  3. Get numbers goal side and at least one front & square of the contested marks and not so many up! The last goal to the Tiges they had 3 loose men goal side of the mark at FF! Zero us! They ran off at will and shared...too easy. Great D efforts by Hibb, Omac & Lever so far. Hunt still going up for marks when he shouldnt potentially contributed to a goal against. Good running effort but sloppy disposal. Most sloppy coming i50 but they are under a stack of pressure
  4. Carn the Mighty Demons!!!!
  5. Harmes most of the way with assistance from Vince (back) and ANB (forward if Dusty drifts back) pls
  6. Keep the faith Rufus. The light is always darkest just before the dawn! 4 quarters of intense on the edge footy...Se La Vie!
  7. The FD should seriously reconsider Weids. Fritsch much quick/cleaner by hand and a clean pair of heals in the wet. Tracc takes on the role of Weids. Late change pls
  8. Weather turning. Hope the FD are thinking about Fritsch for Weids. Cleaner/quicker hands and a quick pair of heals more valuable now. Tracc takes on the role of Weids
  9. There is the grog squad (aka Geelong / Hawthorn / Pies etc) which is unbearable BBP but outside of that they have a big mix of supporters who have mostly seen years of not doing so well like us. I have found the normal ones that I've run into to actually be, in the main, realists rather than cocky like the Hawks / Bombres / Norf (against us before we beat them). Or generally obnoxious like the Pies / Saints. In most big matches in the past we have tended to do pretty well or hold our own against them also. Supporters have long memories.
  10. Pretty sure he was selected Dappa! The timing couldn't be worse IMO. Couldn't wait 12 days for the Saints, Sons and Blues block?
  11. SW can you pls refrain from using such offensive language here. Very upsetting
  12. Well there are always exceptions Davey like Grigg v Harmes I guess. I still think you don't bother. Just use your extra mid fielder that you would have used in the ruck as a plus one around the pill to get more of it at the drop or on the outside. I am just hoping he isn't rucking against a genuine ruckman like last week. Anything else will be a huge improvement IMO!
  13. Lol Wise. Being Tigers I'm sure they will be used to the odd spray!
  14. Juzz going for the gate is an option but a tad risky. Up to you though. But if you like you could call the club's membership line tomorrow and see if you can get a Demon Army token membership. Only $45 or thereabouts and it will gain you entry into Bay M3 behind the goals, punt road end, provided you arrive before 7. And yes I realise this is probably not your preferred or usual seating / setting but hey you get a seat and only $45 plus you are helping a good cause. Not sure if you would need a standard membership also to get through the gate though? Can always grab a 3 game cheapy on top if needed I guess. You can sit anywhere you like in bay M3 also if sitting directly behind the army isn't your thing. Make sure they put your name on the list so Sophie & Co. have you on the D.A. membership role to tick you off when entering M3 though. There might be other options also that others will point you towards that might be more up your alley. Good luck anyway and hope you make the big show!
  15. If I see Harmes rucking tomorrow night and not Weids I'll spew up! (Plough et al)
  16. I hear you Jib. He was horrid last week but did have the Ruck duty on his plate. I'm willing to give him one last attempt to redeem on the big stage. He will need to play a ripping game though. Lets hope he does for our sake as on his very rare days'' he can actually turn the momentum during short bursts of power footy. Only trouble is he tends to fade away far too often in an around those rare bursts. Doesn't kick enough goals either for mine (or any of late). I see Melk as a closer fit to Fritsch (still a fair way off Fritsch though). A tiny bit more forward of centre and more on the outside vs Harmes which is why I mentioned Melk.
  17. That fact he had to play a ruck role as well may have gone against him but yes in general play he was ordinary Dee. He has a reprieve this week and lets hope we see him in a non-rucking role this time around. Would love to see him run through a few tomorrow night and kick a few goals. Would also love to see him or anyone except Jones/Clarry covering Dusty/Cotchin. First 2 matches were reasonably good but has dropped away since the North encounter.
  18. Surprised with Fritsch before Melk also. Room for improvement, especially with his defensive work inside 50 but i still had Fritsch ahead of Melk last week. I'm guessing managed for the Bombres or maybe the week after vs the Saints?
  19. That is true BZ but with Tyson back I think the Hogan roaming way up the ground play (as high and as often) is unecessary and weakens our spine/structure and ability to impact the scoreboard. And I still think Rance would probably go to him. Which means Rance is intercepting and starting his runs higher up the field as you have said, in more dangerous parts of the ground. With Tyson, Clarry, Jones, Tracc and Brayshaw in (and later Viney) I would have Hogan playing and impacting the game and the scoreboard in a more traditional CHF role and reduce his time higher. Some would say drag Rance up the field or out wide (out wide you also lose Hogan's ability to impact). How about we take him head on with our best forward and keep him deeper in the forward line but clear the forward 50 out as much as possible and let Jeffy / Fritsh go to work off the crumbs from Hogan and Weids/Pedders?
