  1. Thats a disgraceful but predictable "interstate / Top 4 Vic club biased outcome". Another Mao Tse Gill endorsed special. If the club says / does nothing about that then we stand for absolutely nothing and may as well pack our bags.
  2. I stopped listening to the 7 commentary after the Swans game when it was clear they only wanted one team to win on the night. Completely biased towards the top / interstate clubs and, outside of Carey, they all pander to the AFL's favoured club/player agenda when it comes to poor umpiring decisions. Is Carey still on there? Be very surprised if his contract gets renewed. Mao Tse Gill would be on to him in a flash. His inappropriate comrade speak from earlier this season might have been shut down already!
  3. Amen to that 56. Albeit a fair way off the same ferocity / intensity and 2nd efforts of Clarry, we can add Harmes, Big M and Salem into that category. Big gap between them and the rest this year. Mega drop off for some.
  4. Player / Team Stats Form Guide To Rnd 18, 2019 vs Season 2018 The biggest improvement ....Fritschkreig...closing the gap on his 2018 form differential by nearly 5% and jumping one place into 9th. Clarry, Harmes, Gawn (who i would roughly have in 3rd place, or thereabouts, if hit outs to advantage were included) and Salem all improved. Quite a feet given they were already heading the table. The biggest drop was the Big P.....dropping a massive 13.7% and 9 places! We improved our season's team score marginally by approx 0.8% vs 2018. Not withstanding the fact we still managed to lose both matches, this round was our 2nd best performance statistically (64.925), only beaten by our Rnd 11 performance vs the Crows (67.275).
  5. I wish the club gave me $20 credit off my membership eveytime we had one of these Werridee. I would now be able to afford that mega SVS sub that i'm eyeing off on ebay that is presently final nail divorce material.
  6. He had form at the selection table well before that disaster DD
  7. Has the mindset of good forward craft already... “In rugby I was always intense, always on the move, never slowing down, so I like to bring that especially when I play forward,” he said. “I like to base myself on a real pressure player, an impact player. “So I try to keep it alive the whole time. “I like to think I bring that intensity over to the game.”
  8. Nup you're it LDC. LeFau please! Outside of that the cupboard's bare!
  9. All very good points Browny. Have put responses to each up there ☝?
  10. Possibly a bit to do with that Shorty (HP fitness & conditioning ...Misson?). Add a very poor forward list that can't convert in front of goal (excluding Fritschkreig who played his first game as a genuine forward for most of the match...until he began playing a HHF role late in the game and became less effective); and Goody's obsession in persisting with the manic chaos game for the entire match = inevitable major fatigue fail / intensity drop = opposition coming over the top FTW.
  11. She may have cost the Blues the match against the Dorks in Tassie earlier this year also when she allowed Bruest (i think) to move 2 to 3 meters inside the boundary and open up the angle on goal when he had clearly taken it just inside the line (forward pocket). He may have kicked it anyway but she made it that much easier by not paying attention while setting the mark.
  12. Player / Team Stats - Weighted Composite Score Rnd 18, 2019 - Demons vs Eagles (TIO) # Hit outs to advantage not accounted for A big step up from last week's super ordinary effort but still couldn't get the chocolates. Fritschkreig's best match for the year and of course we all know why. The other usual culprits up top.....Clarry, Salem, Harmes & Big M.
  13. Not saying they want to be fringe DP just saying i'm not sure the desire to take it to another level is there with some. Communication yes....motivation as well.
  14. 6. Clarry 5. Fritschkreig 4. Salem 3. Harmes 2. May 1. Hibb HMs .. Big M who had another win today but as per Swooper....given no credit by the clown commentary team on the 'AFL approved' Nuff Nuffs Chanel
  15. The most predictable club in the AFL... > Don't play with much intensity early or if we do and our chaos game is on we still miss plenty of early shots at goal and concede a significant or largish lead to the opp by quarter or half time. > Fight back a little, maybe even get nose in front and get some supporters a little more interested / excited. > Drop away in intensity, composure, run and finish when the heat is on in the tight contest from about half way through the third onwards. > Add a few clangers straight back to the opp allowing them to get a few relatively easy joe the goose or sling shot goals on the run to ice the game and take the pressure off. The opp then goes into slow tempo possession mode to ice the game, something we are incapable of for more than a few kicks.. > Goodwin presser where he will likely say "we are slowly but surely getting back to the Melbourne way" and "there are some positive things we can take away from this". Rinse and repeat the following week* *Excluding Gold Coast where we might win and get VERY excited both in the post match celebrations, the rooms and presser and those easily pleased on D'land.
  16. No stars and no genuine forwards able to finish of the good work 640. All injured or didn't fire a shot all year other than T-Mac in one three quarter cameo.
  17. And that was about the last we saw of him other than a few cameos in general play Farmer....not good enough by a long way. A bit like the MFC for many many decades.
  18. Tracc use body hips ...not hands.... who is teaching forward craft to these young blokes? Maybe they should use Lewis
  19. Eagle's forward grabs ball....feels tackle....throws hands out like KB and drops ball while being tackled...."Play on"
  20. 31 Disposals Clarry.....instrurmental in this one as usual
  21. That is not a block....same thing as Maxy last week but even softer....BulllSHIZEN!!
  22. C Wags doing ok....goes/tackles hard and gets to a few contests
  23. There's no point putting someone down there who can't play there Wise. Simple. If you don't get that or don't wish to and prefer to reverse-engineer some of Goody's questionable decision making throughout the year then you are most welcome to continue your ride on the Matterhorn. You might wish to help Saty off though...apparently he's been stuck on it for years!
  24. And that's his problem. Nowhere to be seen for 20. Turnover after turnover. Then puts in 10 to 15 minutes of ok footy. It's Rnd 18 not the first match or two and he's been in the system long enough to know what's needed at this level by now. Rarely finishes when required either. Great work ethic and andeavour but doesn't cut it for long enough often enough at AFL level.
