TEAMS: Rd 11 vs North Melbourne
I don't think so. Would've named Pruess instead of T-Mac if they were only looking for T-Mac to fill the centre bounce / square ruck duties surely. But then again. Tomlinson can't ruck to save himself from what i've witnessed, nor shoukd he be expected to, but happy to be proven wrong.

Thanks Uncle....Pruess sitting around for this exact scenario but let's bring back T-Mac . Just as LJ was finding some touch up forward let's throw him into the ruck against the hulking Goldy so he can get mashed. There's an old saying i live by ..."If you don"t be bloody stupid you'll be alright".

TEAMS: Rd 11 vs North Melbourne
Easily in SG & Co's top 10 worst ever committee results. And that's saying something. T-Mac is Gawnsky and Spargo is bottom of the small man rung at the club. Goody still experimenting with the season on the line. What a donkey.

Well that's a season ending selection of ins. SG does it again. Roll on 2021.

CHANGES: Rd 11 vs North Melbourne
Most looked ok to good last week W. And so they should given the team we were playing hadn't won a match to that point and of their 22 more than half (13 to be exact) were rookies vs our 5. Lockhart is playing in a similar defensive role as a rookie and doing just as well, even a tad better imv. The obvious in is Rivers for Harmes who moves into the mid to replace Jack. They play a similar game in terms of their capability to push forward and impact on the scoreboard.
-
CHANGES: Rd 11 vs North Melbourne
No need at all. Harmes goes into the mid and Rivers comes in to cover Harmes. Was bog ordinary in a HB role anyway. Could be the tonic Harmes needs to get his mojo back and show the hierarchy where he should be getting more game time.
-
CHANGES: Rd 11 vs North Melbourne
Pruess plays that role ok if he's in the hub. Not as well as Big M of course but as long as he's getting the ball to ground.

CHANGES: Rd 11 vs North Melbourne
May should be the VC alongside Viney. Flies the flag.

CHANGES: Rd 11 vs North Melbourne
Yes. He only rucks the square and plays a spoiling role a kick behind play down the line or as part of the wall. Don't see why he can't cover ruck down back most of the time as well. LJ covers anything in the arc.
-
CHANGES: Rd 11 vs North Melbourne
Please tell me we got Pruess into the hub knowing that Big M was carrying & suffering from an injury a while back? LJ is just settling nicely in to a forward / minor ruck relief role and we are expecting him to take over a major ruck role the next week against Goldy? And T-Mac as LJ's replacement? Recipe for a solid loss if so.

- CHANGES: Rd 11 vs North Melbourne
Is Pruess in the hub? Surely Harmes has to go into the middle and push forward as per his past role now. Rivers comes in to replace Harmes' role.- CHANGES: Rd 11 vs North Melbourne
As long as he plays mostly ruck Mr Leg. Actually a week's rest for Big Maxy in prep for the following week against his arch enemy Grundy, may not be the worst thing that could happen. A little protection also against the big body of Goldstein crashing in this week couldn't hurt. Might also give the opp a bit of a headache as they won't have alot of data / intel as to where Pruess tends to place the ball with our mids with his tap work.- CHANGES: Rd 11 vs North Melbourne
OD that probably applies to about one half of our team. Imagine the ins & outs every week- Stats Files - 2020
Thanks Polly. Yes i reckon that's all started to change since we saw Weid replace T-Mac. Much more mobile and converting nicely. Then we've had Clarry starting to connect a little better plus the addition of Gus slowly starting to spend a tad more time in the middle. Viney pushing forward is a better alternative than majority of his time in the middle imv. Add to that Jackson finding the ball a bit last week. A fair way to go but starting to see a couple of promising positives eh. Just need Kozzie to come on now or maybe Bedford coming in and impacting at some point. Must play Kozzie closer to goal though. Not sure why he was getting any game time up the field of late. Crazy stuff at this early stage. He needs to stay deep and learn his craft ie; crumbing, kicking goals and pressuring the opp inside 50. The other issue is some of the long kicks coming out of defence from May. His medium / short kicks tend to be a bit dodgy but he does find some targets long at times which sees those on the receiving end with plenty of time/space to find options around the arc etc. Having a solid season so far.- CHANGES: Rd 11 vs North Melbourne
I agree OD. ANB, Fritta, Hannan & Melk all in a similar boat i reckon. Fritta tends to do better playing off a wing at times. We lack a dangerous HF both in the air and ground level which is why i'd be getting Harmes to play more time forward and pushing Viney up there more often as well. As we saw last week that paid off a little with a couple of goals. The issue though, who else do you bring in?- Stats Files - 2020
Road to Finals / GF - Triple Crown Update (to Rnd 10, 2020) Vs the Crows Meters Gained Differential (looking for + 200 or more) ? +859 ✔️ Marks inside 50 Differential (any positive is a win but the higher the better) ? +6 ✔️ Contested Possession Differential (looking for a +10 or greater) ? +25 ✔️ Season Averages (the one that counts) Meters Gained Average Differential (looking for an average of + 200 or more) ? +82.5 ❌ Substantial improvement on -14.5 last week. The top five with current ladder positions in parenthesis below. It is worth noting that only the top three clubs have a +200 (or greater) average here. That's one less club than last week with the Lions dropping out of contention. We are presently lying 6th. 1. Power 414 (1st) 2. Tigers 337 (3rd) 3. Cats 229 (5th) 4. Saints 167 (2nd) 5. Lions 106 (4th) Marks inside 50 Average Differential (ideally we need to see a top 6 ranking) ? 3rd ✔️ Up two places from last week with a +1.6 average differential, equal 3rd with the Cats and the Tiges. The top 5... 1. Lions 2. Power 3. Cats 3. Demons 3. Tigers Contested Possession Average Differential (looking for +10 or more) ? +9.2 ❌ Moving up one place to No.3 from last week and just a smidgen below the required pass rate. Super close but no cigar just yet. The top 5: 1. Pies 2. Cats 3. Demons 4. Kangas 5. Lions- CHANGES: Rd 11 vs North Melbourne
general soreness hopefully & the 4 day break... save him for the following match against the Pies. While Sparrow isn't Jack (yet) we can cover him off against Norf if required. Move Melk in to play more time in the middle and earn his keep for a change. Been accurate but outside of shooting at goal he's been flying under the radar without ball in hand for far too long now imv.- CHANGES: Rd 11 vs North Melbourne
Hannan straight in for ANB ... No brainer. Kozzie comes in for AVB. AVB guts & determination but his footy form is a long way off and another hit to the noggin. Reckon he needs a spell. Kozzie also brings a fair bit more pressure i50 and more score involvements. Plus he gets the rare odd goal as well. AVB doesn't. I reckon we gotta cut Harley a wee bit of slack. He's been out of the game for quite a while as we all know. He'll need a block of games in his legs to find his core strength and feet. Normally you could get the yards into him at Casey but that aint happening. Along with that it'll take him a while to find touch & with that confidence both on and off the ball physically (tackling / general contact). His time on ground is increasing slowly. Keep persevering and play him off one wing as the relief player to both Tomo and Ed and i'll reckon we'll see this gem start to work his way somewhere back to his best. When that happens, Tomo & chunk will struggle to get the game time off him! Stick fat fellow minions. Harley is the Rolls Royce we need and will eventually get around the middle and coming inside 50- CHANGES: Rd 11 vs North Melbourne

If he continues playing that style of game LT he will be. I would show the great steps he made in this game and reinforce that game again and again. This is the promise he showed coming to reality. Rinse repeat, rinse repeat. Get the 5 top players together. Big Maxy, Tracc, Clarry, Viney and May. Show them their effort from the last 3 to 4 weeks. While there was a big gap with Port, they aren't far off beating the best on their day IF they can all bring that output together as often as possible. The rest need to lift also but if those top 5 fire more often than not and with solid support from the rest for the remainder of the season, we are headed for finals.- Stats Files - 2020
