That about sums it up for me LT. He looked as if he was in about 2nd gear most of the night and was sooking it up coming off the ground. His attitude is the pits and not a great look for those around him, particularly the rookies. Time to look elsewhere while he still has a modicum of value.

Needed to go back further behind the mark and assess. Had he done so he 'might' have gotten the 50 but unlikely from the umps who were against us for much of the evening. Instead he lost his head and almost immediately played on to a player leading to probably the lowest % spot in the forward line. Terrible decision making. No poise forward of center all night other than Chunk and Melk.

I love Nev but have to agree here. Time to bring Rivers in and while he might need managing on occasions he has to be played as much as possible from here on. We are badly missing an in form Marty Hore for Oscar as well. Oscar is ok if he doesn't get a 2nd tall forward that's both athletic and a strong overhead mark. When he does he is cooked after about 2 quarters or so and the opp look to go through that player much of the time to take advantage.

In every big match bar a couple of finals when the team was on a downhill run he has rarely stood up and kicked important goals when we are behind and under the pump. He's a mark and miss player when we aren't in front on the trot (little spotlight/pressure. Kicking brain goes to jelly.

yep that too....what a stupid place to lead to. Always one step away from being a decent team. We just dont get it at so many levels and always leave too much to too few against the rated clubs

STILL no genuine key tall forwards that are reliable kicks at goal. It's time to bring Brown in for 3 matches or so for Weid. If that fails then its time to ask Tomlinson to earn his keep in place of May and send May forward for the final experiment before cleaning out our Key Tall stocks at end of season.

Sorry but Weid just doesn't like the pressure when kicking with a deficit. STILL a downhill skier. When the going gets tough his kicking goes to water.

Well there's the difference. We miss from 20 and Charlie hits it clean from 25

we can't get clean first possessions in the center bounces. So many fumbled attempts that turnover straight to the opp who then pick up clean much of the time and hit their man with the first disposal by hand. Also how many times have we not pushed back far enough behind the man on the mark and had the kick touched? Amateur stuff and much of it by experienced players. If we clean much of the rubbish first possessions up and eliminate the amateur hour idiocy we might get back in this.

Gosh some of our boys go so cold with skills, intensity and focus once the wick is turned up.

Their general field kicking and work rate to get off their opponent is better than ours after quarter time.
